I have been on it for 19 days and have only lost 5 pounds but I am not giving up because it is so easy. I am 55 years old so that might be the reason it is slow.I have a hard time eating all the cookies and protein and I called and was told I wont lose as much if I dont eat them all, then on another call I was told to eat only 5.I find the info given to be inconsistant. They really dont taste too good but I have gotten used to the oatmeal and the blueberry arent bad but I have started to hate the chocolate chip and i have many packs left. Has anyone tried the bagels, crunch or shakes? I wish they would sell them in smaller quantities so we could try them.

i have tried the bagel chips and like them very much. I did this diet about a year and a half ago and it worked. I was also able to maintain for about 7 months and then to my own detriment I decided I could eat whatever I wanted. I started again today and I know it will work. YOu have to eat all the cookies or it will not work. good luck

Hey there,
I was wondering how you are doing today with SFL. I am just about you age and am considering going on the plan. I will turn 49 in December and am 5'2". I weigh 185lbs and would like to lose about 50. Costco has a 42 day pack for $199. right now and I'm just trying to research and see if this would be a right fit for me. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have been on the Smart for Life Diet for one month and have lost 12 lbs so far with 40 more to go. I power walk with my dogs every night and I am on the 800 calorie plan. I sometimes cannot eat all of the cookies and sometimes cannot eat all of the vegetables either. I became motivated to try this diet as three co workers went on it and the weight just slipped off of them! I only eat the chocolate chip cookies, I order them from Costco and sometimes use teh Walden Farms jams or dip to flavor them. I just make sure to drink alot of water and crystal light all day too! Good luck everyone!

I got my 2 week supply last thursday and have lost 2 lbs so far. the chocolate chip are my favorite , but i like the oatmeal raisin also. You will end up drinking a ton of water on this diet- your body just ends up craving it. I really look forward to my dinner now lol. It's taken me a few days to adapt to the diet- I did get hungry in between cookies. I just had one earlier then normal or had a crystal light drink. The one thing I noticed is my energy has improved. I dont wake up in that fog anymore. When its time to get up, I can get up without wanting to sink back into bed and this is with an infant thats up all night lol. I have 40lbs to lose and I will do this diet a full month to get a better idea of the weight loss I'll be experiencing on it. Friday will be a full week on the diet, so I will post again. My husband was worried I wouldnt be able to resist the Halloween candy, but I told him "are you kidding- I've eaten cookies all day- I'm fine!"

I am on day 4 and I have already lost 4 pounds. I am soooo excited. The cookies taste great ,except that I dont like the oatmeal. I have not tried my shakes yet. Ive tried dozens of protein drinks and they taste like vitamins, so i am a little leary of smart life shakes. I plan on trying it tomorrow. The cookies make you full and after a couple of days you don't crave the foods you use to eat. Also there is no point in buying this product if you are not planning on making exercise a part of your life. I have tried every diet, even Nutrisystem and they didnt work. I was always hungry. I think the reason the cookies work is because it is packed with a ton of protein. I don't know anyone that can fit that much protein in their diet every day. I don't know about you but i am not going to cook up to 6 small meals of protein everyday and then make a healthy dinner. This diet saves you time. Time is worth buying.

I am beginning week 2 now- in week 1 I lost 3 lbs. I'm happy with the diet- its easy to keep up with and no one in my family has noticed my weird cookie habit yet lol. I'm keeping it a secret until they start to notice the weight loss. I hope I can keep with the 3 lbs a week. that would be awesome to lose about another 10 in time for thanksgiving. I will now start exercising daily to help speed things up.
Good Luck everyone!

In 2 weeks I've lost 5 lbs. I've noticed that my clothes are fitting better and I have a lot more energy to do things. The diet is really easy to keep up with so I will stick with it. just 40lbs to go lol.

I started 2 weeks ago. The first week I lost 8 pounds. Tomorrow I weigh in again. We'll see how that goes. The cookies are delicious and the muffins too!! So far so good. I'm very excited.
