I just received my fist issue of my subscription November issue. It is full of adds for chemical laden products and pharmaceuticals. Pharmaceutical adds taking up to 4 pages just because they list all the side effects. Nothing healthy in what they are promoting there! I have already told friends to stay clear of this magazine. What a waste. But I suppose they never said if it was good health or bad health they were promoting?!?!?
Health-my favorite fitness magazine!
I picked up this magazine randomly one day at the store and i just loved it! I thought the material was really informative, not too overwhelming, focused on fitness but also other areas of your life, such as eating, stressors, relationships, etc. It is a great magazine for the money, has tons of random tips, advice and great articles written by people who know their stuff! I will be getting a subscription to this magazine for a long time! It's a great break from the other health magazines out there because there are real women, not celebrities to promote it, which i find as refreshing.
This Health magazine is very informative. I very much enjoy the Health and beauty tips found here. The price is pretty good. 10 issues for 10 dollars subscription is awesome since this magazine is my favorite its cool that i can get so many for such a low price. its very informative from page to page you usually come across something interesting if you enjoy reading Health topics and such... The only thing i don't like anout this magazine is all the annoying advertizements featured inside, i think this magazine would be alote better without them but most magazines are loaded with advertizements anyways which is why i don't read any other magazines, but since i really like this one i tend to stick with it. over all it is a good magazine, i highly recommend it to anybody who wants to learn how to emprove your health, i try out alote of the beauty tips and the health tips and theyve worked for me.

Realistic and inspiring for today's busy women!
My mom started giving me her old copies of ***Health* **magazine. I had never really looked at them before, but on the long drive home after visiting family for the weekend, I started thumbing through them in the car. Well, just a few pages in, and I was hooked!
**About the product: *Health* **magazine sells for 10 issues for $10, which is an absolute steal for a magazine of this size! Each issue is close to 200 pages, and has a variety of articles ranging from interviews with celebrities to recipes to healthy products that have been tested by their staff to exercise routines...and the list goes on! It's a very modern magazine, with great photography, colorful graphics, up-to-date information on health issues, and about the same amount of advertisements as any other magazine on the news stand.
**My take: **Well, my mom's subscription runs out in two more issues. Once I stop getting her hand-me-downs, I'm getting my own subscription! For $10, this magazine is such a great read! It seems to condense a lot of the articles that are spread all over the internet and other magazines and puts it into one neat little package for me, so I can stop chasing it down! Some health and wellness magazines leave me feeling fat and lazy, but ***Health* **cuts the every day woman a little slack and has an encouraging and balanced approach to life. There is as much information on beauty products and foods as there is on exercise. So for someone who hates to work out but is trying to live a more balanced, stress-free and healthful life, like me, this is a great magazine! Thumbs up and five stars.

Great women's magazine for general health, fitness, and dieting
After subscribing to other women's fitness/health magazines in the past, I found Health to perfectly fit all what I was looking for!
One thing I love about Health magazine that has made me a subscriber for the last few years is the variety of articles and topics, and that it isn't a "fad" magazine.... Health will give you great information about foods and dieting (fosusing on YOUR "feel great weight" with real-life stories), exercises that really work (and that you can do from home without a costly gym membership), and real-life, inexpensive tips for great skin, hair, makeup, and style tips of clothes that will fit on all different body types (not just the model sizes and styles). This magazine is definately for the everyday woman.
I also love keeping up to date on health news with this magazine... articles on diabetes, cancer, period problems, etc. are dealt with in an informative way to help everyone -- and "embarrassing questions" are answered for all those things you are unsure if you want to address with your family or doctor. There is even great tips on money management, which adds to the magazine's focus on having a "healthy life".
I love Health magazine, and recommend it to all women looking for a great multi-focused, interesting magazine for the everyday woman.

The most informative health and fitness magazine out there.
I find that Health magazine is one of the best magazines out there. If I had to give up all my magazines except one, Health would be the one I would keep. It has excellent short articles on all aspects of health from exercises, to foods, to simple tips on making your life better. In fact I have started cutting out some of Health's tips and taping them in a notebook. An example, would be tips on how helpful honey is. Did you know that honey is good for your sinsuses. Other tips include, allergy tips (did you know that probiotic yogurt helps your allergies), herbs and what they are good for, tips on how to look beautiful and feel beautiful, etc. I would encourage every woman to pick up an issue to see for herself.

Here's to Your Good Health
Health Magazine is a publication designed for those who like to read and learn about health products, health remedies, fitness, healthy eating, and mental well- being. This magazine is issued ten times per year and it contains articles that cover many facets of physical and mental fitness. **Magazine Commentary:** Health Magazine is published by Southern Progress- the same company that prints and delivers such magazines as Coastal Living, Cooking Light, Southern Accents, and Southern Living. Designed for those who like to read about health and develop a healthy lifestyle and healthy habits, Health is a publication that has widespread appeal. When I first heard about this magazine, I was hesitant to pick it up and read its contents. The reason for my reluctance was because, based on the title, I assumed this was a magazine strictly about nutrition. And as many will agree, not only is nutrition a boring topic to read about, it's also a subject where most people already know the basics. We don't really need to read another magazine about a subject like nutrition, and this assumption about the magazine made me avoid giving Health magazine a try. Once I gave in a few years ago and opened the pages, I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. Health, it turns out, is a multi- dimensional health publication that goes far beyond the boring repetitiveness of nutritional data and facts. This publication covers issues like mental health, personal relationships, sex, parenting, physical fitness, sickness and disease facts and prevention, advice on foods and their health benefits and consequences, and so on. With so many areas covered, this is the type of health- related publication that would appeal to most any reader. The organization of this magazine is nice, with the majority of the magazine's articles divided into one of the five main categories: Beauty, Body, Fitness, Mind, and Food. My favorite sections are the ones on Mind and Food. The "Mind" section is probably my favorite of all because it's the one I (and most anyone) can relate to best. It covers all sorts of mental health issues, from stress relief on the job to reviving a sexually- barren marriage. The food section is also a good one because it covers more than just eating healthy- it talks about ways to spice up bland foods and creative techniques to take something ordinary and turn it into something tasty, complete with recipes. My main complaint about Health Magazine is that, by and large, this is a magazine directed toward those of the female gender. The Beauty section (my least favorite in the magazine) is geared almost exclusively toward women. It's true that some of the articles (like those about taking care of one's skin) can be applied to either sex. But even in these areas, the articles are written about subjects that are mostly of interest to the female species.
**Bottom Line Viewpoint:**
Taken as a whole, Health is a very good magazine with some good articles about mental health, food, and easy ways to combat stress. It isn't the perfect health publication, but it has enough good points to earn an easy recommendation.
Read - just for the health of it.
Health is my favorite magazine. Though the magazine itself has isn't new (it has changed names a few times, but is well-established) I have recently stumbled upon it and I am hooked.
Health magazine covers a wide variety of topics:
- Weight loss
- Disease prevention
I trust the information they give and enjoy the fact that they are a "wholesome" kind of magazine. They don't flaunt women clad in bikinis or promote fad diets. They feature real women and information you can actually use.
As someone who likes to read about overall wellness and healthy living, I am a big fan of Health Magazine and recommend you grab a copy if you are too.
