Magnavox - Foldable Lightweight Headphones (MHL 1600)
When my old headphones decided to beat the dust, I reluctantly went to Target to find a cheaper pair. These looked decent and for $15, they weren't cheap. I figured it would be fine. I was both right and wrong in this same instance.
Please note - I'm using these headphones strictly to listen to music at work. This review isn't factoring in specific features that would be important to some people - i.e. how to the bass and treble sound. Personally, I could care less. I just want it to work!!
Initial Impression
From the start, I liked these headphones. They folded up, meaning I could easily stow...
review »Sony - Infrared Cordless Headphones MDR-IF240RK
To the Point
The problem isn't new but the technology to fix it seems to be new - at least new to us. The problem was that our house has an open floor plan meaning my husband's office and our living room are connected. I got used to reading the closed caption wording but sometimes my reading was slower than the words on the screen.
In comes wireless headphones. I tried out a pair of Radio Shack brand headphones at our daughter and son-in-law's but my husband ended up buying me the Sony Infrared Cordless Headphones MDR-IF240RK.

Sony - In- Ear Headphones - Blue (MDRE10LPPB)
I do not know if my ear size is abnormal, but these ear buds do not fit the insides of my ear and were constantly falling out of place. They became rather annoying during any type of exercise and were constantly coming out of my ear. Even during just normal walking or activities, it seemed to be if I moved a certain way or just even brushed up against the cord, out they would come. I thought I would give these headphones a try given the sony name brand because I do like the ear bud style, but these were no better for me than any of the other ones, and I was highly disappointed. The sound...
review »Philips - Comfortable and Secure SHS3200
I am a runner who was in a constant search for a pair of headphones that would actually fit the size and shape of my ear and stay in place during long runs without constant readjustment. Enter the Phillips over the ear headphones. This pair of headphones is the most comfortable earpieces I have ever used, and I never have to worry about them falling out during exercise. While I had one pair that I used almost daily for a year that began experiencing static issues, I am now on my second pair for what is close to a year, and they are still working great. I am not someone who places extreme...
review »C. Crane Company - SoftSpeaker Pillow Speaker
When I bought my CC Radio Plus, I also bought the SoftSpeaker Pillow Speaker with it. Not so impressed with the radio, but I love, love, love this pillow speaker! It's really innovative and I have never seen another one like it anywhere.
If you want to listen to the radio in bed, but your partner is not too keen on the noise, this SoftSpeaker Pillow Speaker is for you. It's a speaker phone inside foam and covered with a removable, washable, fuzzy blue soft cover. It's only $19.99 on the website, which is cheaper than the earbuds for my iPod, and this has lasted a whole lot longer than those did....
