Be very, very careful using this little meat slicer. I have been shaving my head for many years, generally using a Gilette Fusion razor. Bought the Headblade on a whim. Big mistake. Not only is the device designed so that you have to buy yet another blade - theirs - but since your hand is in the way, it is hard to get around your ears. You have to make sure you go very slowly, or risk cutting large sections out of your scalp. In my case, I lost enough blood to fill a bath towel. Hate it!

I started shaving my head a little under a year ago.  My first shave was with a Gillette Fusion razor, and as you can probably relate to, it hurt.  It hurt for about the first 3 shaves, and then my head finally started getting used to the blade's frequency. Once I heard about the headblade, I jumped on it.  After my first shave, I was sold.  It's much easier to use than a regular razor, and you don't have to look at your head when you're using it (although I do).  It's my most valuable tool regarding shaving my head.  I don't often shave my head in the shower (because it takes a long time, and that causes a lot more wasted water than usual), but when I do, it's very easy with the headblade. When I run out of blade refills and have to use my Fusion, I'm always saddened, because the headblade is easily superior to any alternative.  If you're considering switching your head shaving tool, the headblade is the one for you!

I was really into shaving my head when I first bought the Headblade Sport Razor.  I found it on clearance at a local supermarket.  I bought the razor, refill cartriges, and the shaving cream and lotion.  It was an impulse buy and I hadn't read any reviews of the product prior to purchasing it.  I wish I had. My experience was hit and miss but eventually I discovered why. The first time I used the razor, I took my time and the experience was phenomenal.  Little did I realize that I needed to use that precision surgical care each time I shaved with it.  The next time I shaved my head it was early in the morning and I was getting ready for work. Unfortunately, I was in a bit of a hurry and ened up cutting my scalp. I went to work with a tiny band aid on the back of my head that day. The next time I was careful again and shaved my head very slowly.   It was in the evening and I wasn't pressed for time.  Again no cuts. It was a perfect shave!  So my advice is if you don't mind making your head shaving experience a long slow ritual then the Headblade Sport is for you.  If you want to sahve your head quickly and painlessly use a Gillette Fusion or other similar multiblade razor.
