I was at Walgreens a few months ago and I needed to get some more Head & Shoulders shampoo for my dandruff problem. To my surprise, I noticed that Head & Shoulders had a new product out called Head & Shoulders Intensive Treatment and it was in a blue bottle. The price is a little more than the regular Head & Shoulders shampoo. I bought one bottle just to try it.

Its Active Ingredient -- Selenium Sulfide -- is entirely different from the bestselling Head and Shoulders Classic Clean's Pyrithione Zinc.  There's even more verbiage on the bottle about preventing "itching, scaling, irritation and redness associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis".  This moderate to severe discomfort is the stuff of nightmares.

I have been plagued with dandruff since I was a teenager and have never before found anything that helps like Head and Shoulders Intense Treatment does.  

I would use dandruff shampoo every day before and still have the itchy scalp and the flakes all over my clothes and even on my chair at work because I would scratch and dig all the time.  My hairdresser use to tell me that it was whatever regular shampoo I was using was drying out my scalp or was making me have that reaction.

Head and Shoulders intensive treatment: Head and Shoulders intensive treatment is everything the product claims to be and cleared up dandruff and flakiness.  I usually am able to use it about once a week and use another shampoo inbetween the times I use head and shoulders.  Once a week is enough for me to keep the dandruff under control and I find it is a good idea to switch shampoos from time to time anyway.  It was recommended by the store pharmacy and I agree it really worked.  It keeps my hair clean and manageable,  it is gentle and PH balanced so it is safe for everyday.  It is ok...

Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment works great on dry scalps.

The shampoo contains selenium which is also found in Selsun Blue, but at a couple dollars cheaper a bottle.

I have had the same results with the Head & Sholders as I had with the Selsun Blue.

The shampoo is in an easy to use bottle and colorful bottle.

I only use the shampoo twice a week and that is enough to prevent  adry scalp from forming.

The shampoo is a pink color with a sweet smell, think flowers!!!

I've always been a fan of Head & Shoulders, but the Intensive Treatment brand is above all the rest.  It doesn't smell horrible like many other version of H&S, and it works very well!
