head and shoulders shampoo. It is the best use of a shampoo for killing head lice and keeping them out. My daughter kept getting head lice from school and the school told me I had to treat her hair and bring in the boxes to prove that I had treated her hair. The first few times I did, but got upset when after a few months she would come home with head lice again. After I got head lice I knew that I had to do something to prevent this from happening again. I was spending way to much money on rid and other products and way to much time picking out nits. My daughter has  long and thick hair. We would spend around 6 to 8 hours each time going through her hair and staying up past midnight. I thought that there had to be something out there that would help. I actually stumbled quite by accident to the fact that head and shoulders would kill head lice and prevent them from coming back. It was when I got them that I discovered this. After that I would make sure to wash my daughters hair at least 3 times a week until she was older and could do this for herself. We haven't had them since then.
