Not my favorite scent

4

I am a loyal user of Head & Shoulders, so I was perfectly satisfied with how well this shampoo actually worked. Even better, it is a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner combination, so it saves some time in the shower as well. It leaves my hair very soft and clean, and it does a great job of taking care of any dandruff and/or itchy scalp problems I have had. The shampoo did exactly what I wanted it to do, but I did not really care for the scent. I thought it smelled a little too much like that fake lemon juice that comes in those yellow plastic containers at the grocery store. It didn't leave a nice scent behind in my hair for me to enjoy. Effectiveness The shampoo worked really well on my hair. It left it very soft and smooth and did a great job of taking care of the dry scalp that I develop in the wintertime. Scent The smell was really unpleasant. It smelled like manmade chemicals, not like refreshing citrus!

I am like most people most of the time my scalp is fine but once in a while I get dandruff and itych scalp. I remember the days when we were forced to use shampoo that smelled a lot like medicine, but thankfully these days we have other opitions and those options come from a dandruff shampoo that we have known and trusted since I was a kid, Head and Shoulders. One of the newer Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoos is Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo, in Citrus Breeze fragrance. The shampoo actually has citrus citrus extracts that help it smell very nice. Like most Head and Shoulder shampoo products it helps relieve: dryness, itching, and irritation while eliminating dandruff flakes. You should use the shampoo at least twice a week according to the manufacturer but it is safe and gentle enough to use every day. It is a 2 in 1 becuase it is a shampoo and conditioner combinatation however I find that unless I comb my hair out really well before shampooing I need a little extra conditioner after using this. The active ingredient in the Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo Citrus Breeze is: Pyrithione Zinc (1%). The product does what it says it will and after about 3 or 4 uses you will notice that your dandruff has diminished and your scalp is less itchy. Hair also looks nice and full and will stay soft. The conditioning element of it is not the greatest and I mentioned above there are times I have to still use another conditioner, but it really depends on how many knots I have when I go in to the shower. It is probably sufficent for those with straight healthy hair, but I have curly hair with split ends so I need a little more conditioning than some. It smells very nice and I do recommend this product by Head & Shoulders. Effectiveness You will see a difference within 3 to 4 uses. Head & Shoulders is a trusted brand and this one does not dissapoint. Scent Very likable, has real citrius extracts, if you enjoy a citrus like scent you will appreciate this scent.

Head & Shoulders Citrus Breeze Cleans, Conditions, and Protects

4

A hair care product with the ability to fight flakes, Head & Shoulders is the premiere name in dandruff control and a brand most everyone has used at least once for this purpose. The company has expanded its lineup considerably over the years and one of its many quality brands is Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo Citrus Breeze. Shampoo Facts and Commentary: Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo Citrus Breeze is a dandruff- fighting shampoo with added conditioners to keep the hair and scalp healthy and clean. In contrast to other Head & Shoulders products, this one offers the scent of citrus and it could take some getting used to by those who have grown up using Head & Shoulders classic blue shampoo and have grown accustomed to its familiar scent. Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo Citrus Breeze is a very good shampoo for eliminating dandruff from your haed and its added conditioners perform nicely at moisturizing and protecting the scalp. I like the ability of a shampoo like this to eliminate flakes and repair a dried out scalp and it performs both tasks quite nicely. Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo Citrus Breeze is a very good shampoo for what it does, but consumers need to be careful not to use it too frequently. The reason is because the conditioners could be too much and could weigh the hair down. I noticed this when I used the product for three consecutive days. My hair was quite soft, yes, but it felt weighed down, like some of the conditioner was still in my hair. A single use per week seems like the right amount for me. Bottom Line Viewpoint: Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo Citrus Breeze is yet another quality product from our friends at Head and Shoulders and it rates as another recommended product for all to try. It could take time for some to get used to a Head & Shoulders product that smells like citrus, but once you get past that aspect, you will find that this shampoo/conditioner product is a very good one and it really does make a difference if you have dandruff flakes and dry scalp. Effectiveness This product cleans well and protects the hair and scalp with its conditioners. Scent I like the citrus scent, but it is quite different from the regular Head and Shoulders scent and it could take time to get used to.

The build up and oil in my hair is gone

5

I have very oily hair, and also has build up from other shampoos which is irritating and gross. I began using this product and the first time trying it, all my build up and oilyness was GONE. My hair has never felt so clean. I can even go a day without washing my hair and not have to worry about tons of oil. However, I dye my hair and this pretty much strips it out, thus resulting in me dying my hair more frequently :(

I didn't feel the conditioner part worked very well.

As a 2 in 1 product it didn't do well to condition my very thick hair. After trying for a few weeks and experimenting with different amounts of the product, I just ended up using a separate conditioner on my hair. I believe if you have thick hair this product isn't going to condition your hair very well.

a shampoo solution for oily hair

I have fine and very oily hair, and this shampoo finally saves me from this curse. At first, I was hesitant to try it since I don't have dandruff and I used to have the notion that dandruff shampoos have harsh formula. I gave it a try, and was absolutely happy with the result, my hair feels clean and no longer greasy towards the end of the day. It has green tea extract that lifts away excess oils, freshens hair and rinses clean.

**Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dandruff Shampoo, Citrus Breeze** I feel pleasure informing you that your product Heads and shoulders anti-dandruff shampoo is a wonder product. So far the best I have tried, although not quite where I want it

I finally broke down and tried the Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 Shampoo Citrus for oily and fine hair. I was pleasantly surprised. I was finally able to go 24 hours without having to stop and wash my hair again. Unfortunately, I still cannot go two days between shampoos and would really love to be able to do that. Maybe if I try the Citrus shampoo without the conditioner, it may let me go further. A drawback is that this will strip hair coloring, but I have started giving that up. I find that the area of my hair that is still slightly colored tends to still get tangled, even with the conditioner. The rest of the hair is great. I am in the process of growing it out, so having the smooth hair that isn't tangled when brushing is a blessing. For those that are like me, who can't go 24 hours with most shampoo before the hair looks like it has never been washed, this is a great shampoo. It will get you to the 24 hour mark and perhaps one or two hours further. I can, at least, wash my hair the night before and last the following day. I could not do that in the past. It is worth a try!

Easy, smells nice, but a little greasy on longer hair.

All in all, this is a decent 2-in-1 conditioner.  It's fairly lightweight, the price isn't bad, and it doesn't smell like your grandfather's medicine cabinet.  In fact, it's probably the best smelling dandruff shampoo I've come across - The scent is very a very light, gender-neutral citrus with minimal medicine smell. That said, I haven't been very satisfied with it overall.  Like most 2-in-1 shampoos, it isn't suitable for long hair - the conditioning is too lightweight to handle split ends.  After a few uses, I just used it as a standard shampoo and used a regular conditioner with it.  It would probably work well for extremely short styles, though.  Also, although it does prevent mild dandruff, it seems to do so by 'hydrating' your scalp.  That works in theory, but in practice it makes the roots of your hair look and feel extremely greasy after just two or three days.  So, if you're going to use this, I'd probably alternate between this one and a clarifying shampoo to keep that in check. If you have serious dandruff, this probably isn't going to take of it, either - I'd recommend getting to the dermatologist and looking into a good prescription shampoo.

Head & Shoulders Citrus Breeze -

4

I have been using the Head and Shoulders (two-in-one, Citrus Breeze) dandruff controll shampoo and conditioner for over a year now and am overall happy with it. I have had a very oily, flakey scalp in the past whenever I have used anything besides the Head and Shoulders brand shampoo. The idea of a Head and Shoulders shampoo that helped with oily hair too was new to me and I was excited to see it. Here are some of the pros and cons: Pros: It has worked well keeping my hair and scalp clean, despite my naturally oily and flakey scalp. It has a very nice, clean scent. It doesn't have that over-powering smell that I've noticed with other shampoos and conditioners. It leaves my hair very soft. Cons: It may say two-in-one, but it doesn't work well as a conditioner as it does a shampoo. I have to use a seperate conditioner to be able to get a brush through my hair. I usually have to wash it twice to get my hair fully clean. It reccomends this on the bottle *("lather, rinse & repeat"),*but I don't like having to do it twice. It's not a big complaint, though. I really do love this product and would reccomend it (alone with a good conditioner) to anyone in need of a good dandruff, oil controll shampoo.
