Head & Shoulders Smooth and Silky Anti Dandruff Shampoo 14.2 oz Review

Head & Shoulders Smooth and Silky dandruff shampoo is a  pyrithione zinc formula that is guaranteed to improve scalp and hair health. It is a white creamy shampoo that smells nice and leaves only a slight clean scent to the hair. Head & Shoulders lathers in nicely and rinses out easily.

I began using Head & Shoulders smooth and silky formula after getting a bad case of dandruff recently.  Not only was my scalp flaky, but itchy and sore. I tried a few other shampoos but my scalp did not improve. Wanting to cure the dandruff without damaging my hair I looked for a dandruff shampoo formula that would be gentle.

This formula has worked very well for me. The flaking has improved and the soreness is gone. The itchiness has lessened as well. My hair is soft, but I really wouldn't call it silky. I have thick wavy hair so my guess is this Smooth and silky formula would work very well for someone with straighter and/or finer hair. But the improvement in my scalp makes up for the little extra smoothing product I am using to keep my hair looking it's best.
