The BF use this one. The smell is fresh and minty but I agree with the others reviewers about the toothpaste on the head thing lol. Definitively feels like that! It was ok for the dandruff part, however also had some big red zits in his hair and we are wondering if it's because if this product. He will stop it for a while and I will update if we come to a conclusion Been using this for a couple of years. Quite effective in dealing with my oily scalp and roots. Does not build up and leaves hair clean, light and shiny. Too many shampoos now leave a build up but this one doesn't. I'm not aware of a tingly sensation but the smell is like minty toothpaste. Slightly drying on ends if you have long hair but I use a good creamy conditioner to solve that. Would recommend to anyone with oily scalp/hair. Cap on plastic bottle is somewhat hard to open in the shower.

I have found Head and Shoulders to be the go to brand for any type of dandruff removal (or any action towards preventing it from even occurring). I use this as well as the average brand for my shampoo, and enjoy it quite a bit. I don't have any type of dandruff, but one of my family members uses this to combat it. It's 99% effective for him. I personally find the light, pleasant scent to be quite nice, but it sure isn't an overpowering smell like some others. I haven't had any problems or allergic reactions to the shampoo at all. Complaints: None. 10/10 Effectiveness: Good. 18/20 Scent: Good, but light. 17/20 Overall: 45/50 = 90% = A- Effectiveness While I haven't encountered any particularly awful shampoos, this works very well. I use it as more of a pre-emptetive measure as opposed to combating already existing dandruff. A close family member used to have very severe problems with it, and Head & Shoulders always delivers. Scent It's more of an 8.5, but a B means good in my opinion. I don't particularly love the scent but I can't really complain, although at times I do wish that it would be a bit stronger.
