I love this tanning lotion. It has a little bit of SPF in it to protect my skin from the suns UVA and UVB rays and it helps me get a good base tan going when summer begins. I usually don't tan in a tanning bed but prefer to tan outside in the sun. When winter is over, I'm often very pale. This tanning lotion is great for starting my spring and summer tan. The lotion has a really good smell. It's tropical but still smells like most tanning lotions. It doesn't have a tingle which I love. I don't like lotions that turn my skin red and tingle when I apply them. It goes on smooth and I can apply it everywhere, even on my face. It doesn't break my face out and the added SPF helps give me more confidence that I wont be getting burnt. The SPF could be stronger in this but it is a nice tanning lotion. I can be porcelain pale and use this without worrying. I get a nice summer base tan going and I can upgrade to a stronger lotion. Scent It has a nice tropical scent to it. Absorption This absorbs really well. I wish it had a bronzer in it so I could see where I miss places but overall, it absorbs great. Longevity I can use this and not worry about it rubbing off in the pool or in the ocean. I always get a nice glow after using this lotion and it has an added SPF. Effectiveness I rarely get burned when I use this to establish my base tan for the year. Ease of Application It's very easy to apply. The only thing I would change is the bottle design because my hands get slippery with the flip cap.

Once you have a base tan going, this stuff works great to enhance your summer color. I use this frequently in the summer when I get a tan going. It does not have strong protection in it. Therefore, I would not recommend it until you have some color built up. However, once you have a tan, this is some of the best sunscreen at giving a small amount of protection while enhancing your tan. I use this on my legs, arms and stomach while laying at the pool. I do not use it on my face due to the lack of protection. I can always get a really good tan using this. It smells good too. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking to tan. I would not recommend it for just sun protection. It is a low SPF and will cause you to burn if you have fair skin. Scent I think this brand smells better than most others. It has a tropical scent to it. Absorption It absorbs really quickly. It does not leave me feeling greasy. Longevity It does not lasts a long time due to the low SPF. If you reapply as normal it will be fine. Effectiveness It is highly effective at giving you a tan. Ease of Application It is very easy to apply.

I love this Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen! I use it every summer or whenever I go somewhere warm for vacation. It's great! And it's a tanning lotion, so it works really well when trying to get a couple shades darker but still semi-protecting yourself from the sun. I don't tend to burn very often anymore when I'm out int he sun. Granted sometime I do, but for the most part if I do burn it will just usually turn into a tan a day or two afterwards. I like this sunscreen because even though it's only 6 SPF, it still gives me that little bit of protection from the sun's harmful rays. I have been one to be known to go out in the sun with no sunscreen quite often so wearing this is good for me. I still get my tan while protecting my skin. I also early love a sunscreen with a good smell. And Hawaiian Tropics always gives off a really nice scent. I love the smell of sunscreen, but some brands have a god awful smell that never smells very pleasant whatsoever. So having a sunscreen that I can love the smell of and have it work for my skin is like a double win for me!

I absolutely love this lotion. It is really great, and smells wonderful. Also, it does provide some sun protection. It is in a very convenient bottle, and it is easy to use. Also, it provides a shimmer to the skin which is nice to have. Scent It smells so good! Nice to use for other times instead of just tanning.

Overall I love Hawaiian Tropic and have been using the brand since middle school. I love this product with spf 6 because it allows you to get nice and bronze without burning your skin. It still provides some protection but also allows you to get good color. Typically if I spend an entire day at the beach I will start out with this sunscreen and then move to a higher SPF after I have been out there all day. Scent The scent is great and really beachy. It gives you the tropical feeling you are looking for when you want to escape and relax out in the sun. Whether you are at the beach, lake, or just out back at your pool this is a great product to have. Absorption This product works great and quickly absorbs into your skin. It does not leave you feeling sticky or oily after application. Longevity Obviously this product is not going to protect you from the sun forever. I typically reapply after every time in the water or after 2 hours in the sun. Effectiveness This product does a great job at keeping you protected from the sun while still allowing you to get a nice bronze color. Ease of Application This product is just as easy/messy to put on as any other typical sunscreen.

This sunscreen is wonderful for those summertime tanners. Whether you are at the each sun bathing, at a pool getting some sun, or in a tanning bed for those long cold sunless winters this will give you the bronzed tanned glow you want. The scent of this sunscreen is fabulous, it just gives you the feeling of a Bahama mama breeze. You can't help but love the smell of this sunscreen lotion, and want to put more and more on. It absorbs pretty well, it is a white sunscreen so it does however take some rubbing in to get it to absorb. The longevity of this product can last up to several hours, depending on your sweat level and if you enter any types of water, in which you may have to reapply. It is a very effective product, as it does tan your skin. Instead of making you red like a tomato or leaving you with no color at all. It is super easy to apply, you just squeeze the lotion in the palm of your hand or on your finger tips and apply to your body, rub it all in until there is not more white, and you are good to go.

I love Hawaiian Tropic, they have awesome products. Hawaiian Tropic Tanning Lotion with Sunscreen SPF 6 is great to help you get a nice tan. I like to use protection for the first few days at the beach and then build up the tan. So I use the tanning lotion like the 3rd day at the beach. This works better for me as I am rather fair. Hawaiian Tropic is a perfect texture that is easy to apply and leaves your skin, smooth, not oily and greasy. It also has a fantastic scent that is kind of like coconut. A little bit of the lotion goes a long way and the bottle lasts you a long time. It also gives you a little bit of protection which is nice, and I like that it is 6 not 4, a little bit more. This really helps you get a nice, bronzed tan that will last you a few months. I have been using Hawaiian Tropic brands for awhile now and have always been satisfied with the results, I am a big fan! Scent Awesome scent!

Hawaiian Tropic Dark Tanning Lotion always reminds me of those sweet college days where you didn't have that much to do but study a little and go to the park and tan. I always love opening the first bottle of Hawaiian Tropic in the summer. That familiar scent of coconut wafting in the air never fails to bring a smile to my face. Having lived in sunny Las Vegas for a few years, sun tan lotion became my good friend. My skin was usually pretty dark so I didn't need that high of an SPF unless I was going swimming. Hawaiian Tropic Dark Tanning Lotion always fit my needs when I was just hanging around outside and needed a bit of protection from that unforgiving sun. Now that I live in the Mid-West I don' t have as big of a need for the tanning lotion anymore but on the occasions for when I do (like when we go to the beach or swimming) I still opt for the Hawaiian Tropic. Although Hawaiian Tropic is water resistant I have learned it is always a good idea to reapply after swimming and exercising.

This lotion is awesome. This is my go-to tanning lotion when tanning outside. I get a nice golden tan without turning red because of the small amount of Spf. It's great if you need to get a dark tan with only a small amount of time out in the sun or in a tanning bed.
