Our recent Hawaiian vacation exposed us to Hawaiian Airlines for the first time. We were IMPRESSED with the effort by EVERY Hawaiian Airline employee from the Gate agent to the Shuttle Bus driver to make our journey pleasant and stress free. While each flight was short there was never a minute that we didn't feel important to their business. — We were able to book flights easily after the bankruptcy of Aloha airlines and from that moment on everything went as smoothe as silk. I love Hawaiian Airlines.  They are one of the only airlines that offer non-stop flights to Hawaii from Seattle which makes it easier for those travelling with young children.  They are very accomodating to your needs and are one of the only airlines that still gives you a meal in-flight without charging you.  They do however charge you for ear phones to watch the movie, so keep the ear phones so that you won't have to pay on your return trip!  Join the HawaiianMiles for free and rack up the points to get you back to Hawaii… read full review »

My family and I were going to Kauai. We arrived at the airport to discover that our flight was delayed, so we had to wait for a while. We were supposed to leave at 8:00 am, but we left at 10:30 am, but once we started to board, it passed by pretty fast. Once we got on, they had some music playing, and it was a little too loud. However, once we got into the air, it was very enjoyable. They served very good food. Thanks to the delay, our hopper plane from Oahu to Kauai left without us. Hawaiian Airlines provided the best quality experience my wife and I have ever had on an airline. We have taken 13 vacations in the last 3.5 years and no other airline even compares to Hawaiian. Their staff is the friendliest, the planes are the cleanest, the variety of onboard entertainment options are superior and they are the only airline to provide the true spirit of Aloha. Well when I first decided to go with them I decided to because of their cheap prices I got. All of the workers were friendly and everything went smootly. I feel the quality of everything was great for the price I got it for. You could have expected things to be much worse for the price you got but everything turned out to be incredible. Hawaiian Airlines is well run and mostly on time. However, they are expensive. The airline makes most of its money by overcharging on flights between the Hawaiian Islands. You can save a lot on these trips by using GO! airlines which is operated by Mesa Airlines. They have fares as low as 25% of what Hawaiian charges.
