Hawaiian Air dumps on its best customers

I've only flown Hawaiian Air for over a decade. I have been a Pualani Platinum member for years. I feel that for the first time Hawaiian Air no longer values its best customers. Our miles have been essentially been devalued. We pay two to three times more for tickets and they have significantly raised the number of miles across the board. They used the excuse of higher fuel costs. I don't see the correlation to the mileage program. For example, I use to be able to upgrade to first class the day of the flight for 15,000 miles, now its 25,000 miles. This is a seat that wasn't sold. What's that got to do with fuel cost? If you are as angry about the new policies as I'm, I urge you to file a complaint with their consumer affairs office. You can call them at 888-246-8526. It only takes a couple of minutes. If they hear from enough of us, maybe they will get the message.
