The Challenger 12 ft. Shuffleboard Table is packed with quality features in a rich Dark Cherry finish. The thick 1.5 in. solid finger jointed hardwood butcher block playing surface is coated in a smooth, glossy polyurethane for durability to ensure that the puck slides true. Since tables can become humped during humid weather and dished during dry weather, Climate Adjusters are included on the table allowing you to smooth out any variations that may be required. No other table in this price range offers this feature. The durable CARB certified MDF cabinet with Dark Cherry laminate has cabinet grade plywood corners that are very strong so your table will arrive undamaged. Large 6 in. independent leg levelers at the base of the sturdy legs allow the table to be leveled on any surface.

I recently moved into a home with a very large basement and decided to make it a game room for the family. This Hathaway Challenger 12 foot Shuffleboard in Dark Cherry finish was my first big purchase. I am so glad I purchased this shuffleboard table. It was expensive, but worth every penny. I have five kids and they all love to play shuffleboard. We play on the table as a family several times a week. The table is very sturdy and well built. It is also extremely heavy so be prepared for the delivery man. It also takes at least three people to move it once it's set up. The table comes with climate adjusters, which you can use to smooth out any humps that may occur with dampness in the air. This is great because our basement is naturally damp and humid. I highly recommend this table to anyone looking for a fun addition to their game room. My whole family loves it, even the little ones!

Great low-end shuffleboard!

I was able to exchange another item for the Hathaway Challenger 12 ft. Shuffleboard and it has provided many great evenings of competition with friends. Besides its fun factor this shuffleboard is extremely stylish and blends in effortlessly into my living room. This board has a great smooth finish, which allows pucks to glide in a fluid motion. I wouldn't recommend using the wax that comes with this table because it really increases the speed of the puck and made things very challenging for me initially. I was able to adjust to the speed after about 15 minutes, but it still negatively impacted my play. The best thing about this shuffleboard is that it comes with climate adjusters. I have used the adjusters twice since owning this table and they have done a great job at leveling my table when the wood started to dip in the center. The only downside to this table is that it's heavy, which is a good thing for stability purposes, but moving it by myself safely isn't an option. I would definitely recommend the Hathaway Challenger 12 ft. Shuffleboard because it is an entertaining game and a great decorative piece.
