At first I was hesitant to buy my 6 1/2yr old daughter the Sing and Dance Pinkie Pie, for one, the price and secondly, I thought that it would just sit on a back shelf after the initial fun wore off and that, just maybe, she'd be a bit too old for it. Wrong, wrong, and wrong.
Luckily, I found the toy on sale and threw my doubts about it out, along with my money. She has had more fun playing with this than I ever expected.
It stands about a foot tall and has some weight to it, but not so much where she can't carry it around, though maybe a bit too heavy for a 3 yr.old? It has a total of 12 songs, to sing and/or dance along with and in no time, my girl was singing to all of them. It wiggles and shakes and the head moves back and forth to entice her to dance along. You can also play 3 different games, but she mostly sings along in the song mode.
My daughter even put on a show, by hooking up her Fisher-Price Star Station to the tv and preforming her songs and dance to all her stuffed animals. This kept her occupied for about 3 consecutive hours without getting tired of it. Though it drove me and her big bro crazy after about an hour of it songs being blasted through the tv via the star station, I was thrilled that it was well worth the money and how often she plays with it.
