I was pleasantly surprised to see the modernized version of the classic board game, Battleship. Now it's available in an electronic format that appeals to a whole new generation of players. The electronic version of Battleship is obviously a little more expensive that the classic board game version, but it is worth it because the game is more sturdy and not as easily wrecked. The pieces of the old version were easy to lose. Aside from needing batteries and the slight difference in format, the Battleship game is essentially the same one I grew up playing. I enjoy showing my kids how to play the games that I loved when I was their age.
