Hasbro Catch Phrase Review

One of the games my friends and I always play when we get together is Catch Phrase.  It's fast, fun, and always makes me laugh until it hurts or I cry.

Catch Phrase is like that pyramid game that used to be on TV where you have a word and you have to get your partner to guess the word without using the word or any derivation of it.  If your partner guesses correctly you have to quickly push the button on the side to display the next word and then hand the Catch Phrase game to the next person who has to get their partner to guess the next word displayed.  The object is to not get stuck with the game in your hand when the buzzer sounds or you lose the turn.  It's a lot harder than it sounds as some of the words are harder than others. When my partner is shouting out the different words they think I am trying to describe it can get super hilarious and I end up laughing so hard that I can't talk anymore and the thing buzzes in my hand.  And that always scares me and I scream. 

Catch Phrase never fails to make someone laugh til they pee and it seems like someone always gets hit in the head or groin with the game when the person next to them throws it in their direction to avoid holding it when the buzzer sounds.  It's so much fun!
