I played the electronic version of Catch-Phrase with a group of about 15 women.  It was so fun! 

The game is kind of a cross between Password and Hot Potato.  The game is a self-contained electronic unit, it has words, phrases, a timer, & scorekeeper.  The people on your team try to guess the word/phrase you are describing from the game unit, but you cannot use certain words (always the most obvious words).  The twist is that once someone from your team guesses correctly, you pass the electronic "unit" to your opponent's team and they try to guess their word.  You keep passing it around...

I played this game for the first time at a friend's house.  She did not the electronic version, she had a version with cards and a game board.  I had so much fun playing Catchphrase that I really wanted to own it myself!  When I bought my game, I wasn't sure which version to purchase.  I eventually decided to choose the electronic version.  I really like this version of the game.  It is really small and easy to bring anywhere.  There is no set-up or confusing rules.  The instructions are really easy and the game is easy enough for anyone to play.  Also, the game is pretty fast-paced.  This...

Catch Phrase has proven to be a great game to play during get togethers with family and friends.  I have a lot of friends that dislike classic board and card games, and they really seem to enjoy playing this game.  The game piece is easy to use and pass and I like how the timer works so you don't have to always have someone timing like in older games.  I do have two problems with the game though.  One, if you play frequently you will start to see a lot of repeats.  My family played for a long time one evening and was getting frustrated at getting the same clues some times.  Also, the rules...

Every time we have family get togethers we are guaranteed a good laugh out of this game. It's a fast play game that keeps your heart racing.

The game disc gives you a phrase and you have to get your teammate to say the phrase any way possible. Use body movement, synonyms, etc. When your partner says the phrase you pass the disc to the right. When the buzzer goes off the team who isn't holding the disc gets a point.

You will definitely get your moneys worth out of this game!
