I have a german shephard and a pomeranian. I also have 2 puppies that came from the pomeranian. The dogs are absolutely nuts about these chews. If I bring home plain rawhide they practically scoff at me. Surprisingly they have not caused any carpet stains. They are kind of expensive as all dog paraphenalia is now days. I have been trying to find larger packages to save on them but have had no luck. My dogs are sorta picky but they love love love these.

I think these dog chews stink!  I mean " a bad odor".  My dogs love them!  I do not feed the mini ones very often as they are gone in one chew, but the larger size (three in a pack, I think) allow the dogs to chew for maybe five or ten minutes.  No chews last long around here unless it is a beef hock or something which is NOT what they would ever get anyway.  These Hartz chews are economical, but I have rarely seen a coupon for them.   They are easy to find.  Practically any discount or grocery store carries them.  The pros here would be that the dogs love them.  The cons are many.  They stink.  They are greasy.  Probably they are higher in calories than other chews but I haven't checked that out.  And one of my dogs will on occasion vomit up a larger piece of it.  Again, I'm not sure, but I think it may be because these chews are made out of pig skin.  Dingo chews are made of raw hide and the dog has not ever had a problem digesting them.  I recommend these with reservations.

Onkies are rawhide treats rolled up with a speacial suprise on the inside. I have never seen my dog goes as crazy for any type of treats until she had these. She chewed and chewed on them until there was absolutley nothing left. She just really loves them. I love the fact that they are not that messy, as many dog treats tent to leave little pieces everywhere. We have not had that problem with these treats. She loves the uprise on the inside, so she will work very hard for a long period of time to get to the wonderful suprise in the center. I always pick up a pack of these for special occasions and just to show her how much we love her. The onkies also kee her occupied for very long periods of time, which is something that money other treats have not been able to do. If you want a treat for your furry friend that you won't feel guilty about and that you know they will love, then Onkies are your best bet.
