Hanna, our Pomeranian is white and black. I know you’ve never heard of a parti-colored Pom. Now you have! We had a Westie (white) before her and have been using Hartz Groomer Best Whitener Shampoo for a long time.

This comes in an 18-ounce plastic bottle with an easy to use flip top.

I know the word bath and I can see the look in mommy and daddy’s eyes. I can hear the hose coming out- that means I’m going in the tub. Daddy says it lathers really well. Mommy says lather doesn’t mean cleanliness but I know daddy like to lather me up.

What’s weird about the Whitener Shampoo is that it’s blue. It has a nice, mild, clean fragrance but it’s blue. It isn’t just blue in the bottle it’s blue on me! Mommy’s taken pictures of me because I look so silly. The good part of that is daddy knows if there is any left on me. I get rinsed really well and an not itchy. It rinses off fairly quickly but daddy puts so much on me it takes longer than my patience usually holds up.

Daddy only needs a little to make lots of lather especially because I’m little but even so a little of this goes a long way. Daddy never gets it in my eyes or ears and even though the bottle (mommy told me – I can’t read) says that daddy doesn’t have to put it on twice since I’m not bathed (Sigh of relief) often he washes me twice!

It’s biodegradable. Make sure your children don’t try to play with this. They might because it’s blue!

It does what it is supposed to. People stop and ask my parents how they get my fur so white.
