Hartz Flea and tick drops don't work

I also wanted to try Hartz because it said on the package that it would kill fleas and flea eggs, stopping the flea cycle, but it did the opposite. It was almost as if it attracted the fleas because this last summer, we had a horrible flea problem, so I would give our dog a bath with flea shampoo, let it sit for 5 minutes, watch the dead fleas go down the drain, dry him off, and check him thoroughly, then as soon as he would go outside to go potty, I could see the fleas jumping on him because he has white on his legs and it was so easily visible that it wasn't doing its job. Cheap product and cheap results.

Its been a while since I used this product, I don't think it is waterproof, but I could be wrong, it says on the box if it is, but I now use Advantix, and I could not be happier. Not a single flee (which is important to me because I am allergic to flea bites) and it is waterproof.
