It's sad to finally come to the end of the series, although we all knew we'd get here some day. As entertaining as I have always found the Harry Potter books to be, there are a few things I didn't like about Deathly Hallows. She had to tie up a lot of loose ends and even though the book is 759 pages I felt it was very fast paced. I couldn't help but think that she had the last movie in mind when she wrote the book. I also feel that Molly Weasley calling Beatrix a bitch was inappropriate. Yes, she was one. Certainly. However, these are children's books. Immensely popular and loved by adults as well, but still written with children in mind...or at least they were when she started the series. I'm disappointed in the author for forgetting that. On a personal note, I was very upset when she killed off Fred Weasley. It felt like it was done for shock value more than anything else. I would have liked to know more about the characters other than Harry Potter (Draco Malfor for instance), but you can't have everything.
