Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows —
I have absolutely no idea what J.K. Rowlings was thinking when she wrote this installment in the HP series. I had heard rumors of main characters dying, but this was a bloodbath. Almost all my favorite characters died and two within the first chapter. It came across as rushed and slapped together, perhaps an appeasement for the fans clamoring for an ending. It's great Harry survives, but he's one of the only ones that does. And Snape being on the side of good was a bit hard to swallow. Not really sure I'd read it again.
