Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows —

I, like millions others, was very excited to see this final installment come out. I was anxious to see all the plot lines wrapped up and this novel did deliver. Over all, it was a good read and I look forward to future offerings of this author. However, the way the plots were wrapped up left a lot of disappointment.

The book was fast moving and kept my interest but I felt extremely let down by the various character deaths that seemed to make no sense whatsoever and how some of the plot lines actually did work out.

It seems as if the author changed her mind at the very last minute, on how the book should end; like she just grabbed something out of a hat and stuck it in. I was not sure about the romantic parings because the rest of the series did not really develop those pairs enough to warrant marriage and children. It seemed a little lame.

I would still recommend this book to all Potter fans because it does deliver a good story like the rest, that is if you can get past the the ending.
