I’ve never been a big fan of audio books – they’ve always seemed like a type of cheating to me. I mean, can you really claim that you’ve read a book if you only listened to it? I was always proud to say that I’d never listened to an audio book and I never would. Of course, that was back when I was a book snob. I’ve since learned the error of my ways, and it’s the Harry Potter audio books that educated me.

I loved the Harry Potter 1-7 Audio Book CDs. The voices really brought the characters to life. The Harry Potter books are read in an magical manner, where one pulle dleft and right, the tension of the novel never leaving the speakers voice. The narrator Jim Dale speaks extremely clearly and with so much passion. He seems to enjoy reading the books tremendously, which really helps in the listeners involvement with the story. What I love about this is that it also unites me and my family by giving us something thought provocing to talk about. IUnstead of turning on the TV, we listen to the Harry...

I am not much of a audio book listener because I prefer to read books to myself. However, when I was introduced to the amazing narration of the Harry Potter series, I was awestruck. I have never heard such precise pronunciation and unabridged version of the books. I became addicted to the audio books and the Harry Potter series. The storylines are obviously interesting. The kids can listen to them when traveling for hours and I enjoy them at the same time. Totally recommend them to anyone who is hesitant about the lackluster atmosphere of driving for hours.
I have the full set of audio books in my car and listen to them one after the other. I've even gotten my son listening too, I have to have heard all seven Harry Potter aubdio books atleast 10-15 times. The narrator did an awesome job and voices. I especially love Hagrid!
I've actually played them so many times, that my son and I can put in any random disk and still tell you which book it is and what part without more than a minute of play.
I'll probably have to buy new copies evdentually because the disks are worn out.
