Healthy, organic pellet food for your parrots! I trust it 100%.

willing to pay more for quality, selective about pet food, bird lover, protective of my bird, animal lover

Organic bird food, Very healthy, Our Grey loves it!, Is a formula I trust for my pet, Is recommended by vets

Cons

very expensive, hard to find at retail stores, wish they had special offers/discounts, have to pay for shipping

Harrison's Bird Food - High Potency Coarse Pellets

Was recommended by our vet (an avian specialist)
For use in medium to large parrots (African Greys, large Macaws, etc...)
We have fed our African Grey parrot these pellets since he was weaned off formula
They are organic and very healthy
Our Grey loves them!

The only negative things I have to say are that the food is very pricey & they never have any deals on the food nor the shipping costs.

BUT....when you are a pet lover and consider your pet another member of the household like we do, then you'll buy whatever it takes to give them the happiest, healthiest life around!

Hi Kwissin, I buy Harrison's Fine pellets for my birds at www.birdsafestore.com. I don't know how their prices compare to the Harrison's site. But, I signed up for the Birdsafe Stores monthly e-newsletter which talks about new items, sales, and specials. The sales are always shown at the bottom of each newsletter. Oh yeah, all of Birdsafe foods are natural. I have emailed them with questions a few times, and they are always friendly and quick to respond.

I'm not sure what the reason but for whatever reason it seems that there are a lot of us organic :) types at this site. It's nice to see! Jo
