I've used a lot of harsh toilet cleaners in the past where the fumes were quite dangerous but with the Harpic Power Plus the fumes were just bearable, not as bad as the other brands. I can tell you that after trying so many different kinds of toilet cleaners and giving the Harpic product a try that my toilet bowl looks brand new and sparkles white whereas before it was dull and stained horribly. I had expected this to another passable failure like the others but after only using one box and following the instructions stated on the product all of the toilet stains disappeared. I am one happy customer, as there were no other faults to this toilet cleaner other than its strong smell, it's easy to apply and features a thick formula allowing me to better cover the entire surface of the bowl and disinfected any germs concerning that area. Harpic's claims of being 5x more powerful than bleach and will remove even the toughest stains with just one application is all true. I will keep using as recommended as this is the only product that has properly cleaned my toilet.

I have been quite happy with Harpic Power Plus Toilet Cleaner. It is nice and thick. This means it actually makes a difference if you leave it to set the recommended 10 minutes- 1 hour to fully clean/disinfect the toilet. Unlike many runny cleaners, this is thick enough to stay on the sides of the bowl and clean/disinfect the entire bowl, not just the bottom area. It also helps remove the calcium build up (The water is very hard where I live). While it does have a strong cleaner scent, it does not smell quite as harsh as some toilet cleaners I have used in the past. The cap could be a little better. I would prefer something that you must squeeze to release the cleaner. This bottle you just need to remove the cap and turn over. If you are not careful, you can spill cleaner on the sides or seat of the toilet (not just in the bowl). The Harpic Power Plus is slightly more expensive than some of the discount brands, but it works better and you need less to get the job done making it good value for money. I try to stock up while it is on sale.
