Harbor Breeze 30" White Breezeway Ceiling Fan Review

I had no idea ceiling fans were so cheap!  When I went to Lowes to find a small ceiling fan to fit above my dining table, I was almost certain that it would cost us a bundle.  Then I looked up and saw the Harbor Breeze 30" White Breezeway Ceiling Fan and said that is the one!  For only around $30, this fan was exactly what I needed.

We don't have a lot of space above my dining table since it is close to a wall, so we couldn't get a very big fan.  I had never seen such a small ceiling fan before so I was really excited to find one that was only 30" around.  We installed a remote into the fan, even though technically it isn't supposed to use one.  It's so small so we did have to manipulate it a bit to fit the remote control in.  My dad used double sided sticky tape to hold it inside so it won't hit the fan's motor.  It could be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing, so be careful with that!  We didn't have much choice since there was no switch hooked to this fan and we couldn't easily reach it to turn it on and off.

The 6 little blades produce a lot of air and can cool down our whole living room!  Even so, it's so quiet that I sometimes forget it is on.  With 3 settings, there is an option for every cooling need.  The three lights are candelabra bulbs and you can't use regular light bulbs in this.  That's ok though because it actually looks better with the candelabras.  The three bulbs really light up a room!  I don't use the lights in this fan often, only when I need extra light or have people over.  Since our fan is on a remote, we can dim or brighten as much as we want.

I also think the fan is very attractive.  The light covers are nice and fancy up my living room.  The White color makes it almost blend in with the ceiling so you don't really notice it all the time.  The blades can be flipped to the wood side, but I don't know why anyone would want that.  

I like this little fan so much that I've already decided to get one for our bedroom!   We won't hook up a remote to it in the bedroom because it's not really supposed to use a remote and we don't want to rig it if we don't have to.  Overall this is the perfect fan to put in small places and works better than a floor fan would in the same spot.  Enjoy!!
