George Carlin, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr, and Sigourney Weaver play in Happily N'ever After.

Plot:  When the the balance-keeper (the wizard) of good and evil goes on vacation, Cinderellas stepmother tips the balance in her favor.  Now with good out of the balance, the fairy tales go crazy and all hell breaks loose.

What I thought:  I thought the storyline was a very unique and cute way to do a fairytale movie.  The beginning has a funny bit with the narrator.  Prince Charming is a moron.  The Fairy Godmother is losing it.  There are militia like Seven Dwarves.  Monk and Mambo (the wizards assistants) are the best part of Happily N'ever After due to their wit and they're down right hilarious.  The three chefs remind me of Chef Gusteau on Ratatouille.  It's a screwed up fairy tale and that's what makes Happily N'ever After so likable.  You don't have to fall for a prince to live happily ever after.

Happily N'ever After is like many of those weird cartoons you see on TV today, so the younger kids will get a real kick out this film.  Lock and load for a good time.

Popcorn is a favorite in my house too, but it must be air popped.
