I began buying my husband boxer briefs several years ago.  He wanted something that would come down on his legs a little to prevent chaffing, yet likes the tight feel of briefs.  Boxer Briefs fit this description perfectly.  He had worn both Hanes and Fruit of the Loom Cotton Boxer Briefs prior to my purchasing the Hanes ComfortSoft Boxer Briefs

So what makes ComfortSoft different?  First off the cotton fabric is definitely softer than traditional whitey-tighty style underwear.  At first we thought they would be too warm since the ComfortSoft Boxer Briefs are a thicker material and my husband tends to run warm anyway, but he has not problem with this.  In addition to the softer feel, the waist band is covered in the soft cotton to avoid the elastic digging into sensitive skin.  This is nice since he seems to have more and more belly beginning to hang over the waist band.

ComfortSoft Boxer Briefs also feature Hanes’ tagless design meant to avoid the digging, chaffing and scratching tags may cause.  This part he hates.  After around a year of washing, the print screening of the “tagless” information started peeling off creating little scratchy pieces that are worse than having a tag there.

My favorite part - they come in fashionable designs instead of boring white.  The set he has features blue stripes.

We have had the ComfortSoft underwear for close to two years now and they still look like new.  (Unlike other pairs in hubby’s collection that are starting to disintegrate.)  They don’t seem to stain as easily as white cotton and there has been no shrinking in the wash.

Overall my hubby likes the way the feel of the Hanes ComfortSoft boxer briefs (with the exception of the tagless spot of course).  The boxer portion comes down lower than other pairs he has worn, yet they are not too long he cannot comfortably wear shorts with them.  I’m sure I bought these based on the price and having the slightly longer leg and it turned out to be a great decision.

I've was always a tightie whitey kinda guy. I've tried boxers, but just didn't like em. Then I discovered the boxer briefs several years ago and have never looked back.

I did at least let my hubby know I was writing it before it was published :) everal weeks back he suggested I write about them because of the stuipd tagless feature.

These are my husband's favorites too. He would never wear boxers but briefs were not comfortable so I bought him some of these one Christmas and he never went back to tighty whities! lol.
