The Handy Can-Opener is more durable than the standard One Touch can opener and cost less than half the price of One Touch.  With One Touch you are paying for the advertising on TV.   There are no complicated release screws and switches on Handy Can-Opener.  All you do if the can opener stops unexpectedly, is turn the release which is conveniently located on the side of the can opener.  If you want one, the only place I have seen Handy Can-Opener though, is CVS Pharmacy.

The simple design makes Handy Can-Opener easier to use.  Just put it on a can and push the button for a few seconds.  The can opener does the rest.  If the can is bigger than a 28 oz. baked beans can--you will need to push the button again with the opener positioned before the stopping point.  A magnet on the bottom picks up the lid for you.

this is florida tan again, just wanted to let you know, I have not set foot into Big Lots since I posted this comment and it is off my radar permanently, I found the company and they didn't even offer a return reply.......Big Lots should be ashamed of themselves for making up a policy like that. I had my receipt in hand but not the packaging, shame on them.....

I need the name of the company that makes it but no luck so far....And Big Lots, well, I will never set foot in their store again....Floridatan, Valrico, Fl

That's a neat looking can opener. Nice pic too.
