This Hamilton Beach mixer was purchased for me for a Christmas present last year. I told my dad I needed a hand mixer and he gave me this one. This mixer is stainless steele and has a plastic container that snaps on the bottom. It holds the cord and all the attachments inside this container. It has a regular set of beaters, a set for breads, and a wisk attachment. This mixer also has 4 speeds. The cord is extra long so that you can move with it if necessary although I dont recommend it unless you want to clean up your mess. The only problem I have had with it is getting my 14 year old to put the...

The KitchenAid KHM3WH 3 Speed Classic Hand Mixer in white is a reliable hand mixer.  I bake quite often and would LOVE a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer, but the hand mixer is what I have for now.  I have noticed that if I have thick cookie dough or a thicker mix, the hand mixer does have a difficult time spinning the beaters around and mixing the mix.  The hand mixer sometimes also smells bad if I overuse the mixer or have batter that is too thick for the beaters to beat. For the person who only bakes once in a while, this is the machine and tool for them.  I have become quite the baker over the last...

I purchased this mixer at walmart and it is a Walmart eclusive item (there is a stamp on the bottom of the hand mixer part) It has six speeds and is very versitile. I had looked at the more expensive models (kitchen-aid, cuisinart, ect.) and being as though none of them were in my budget at the time, I saw this model and picked it up for less than forty dollars. I love that not only is it a stand mixer but you can eject the the hand mixer part from the base to be used in any bowl. It came with a plastic stand and glass bowl which rotates on the base and also has the option of moving the bowl right...

My kitchen-aid hand mixer is one of my favorite appliances. This is a heavy duty mixer that manages every job I give it. One of the best things is that it is light weight and pretty ergonomic, which makes a difference for us folks with things like arthritis and carpal tunnel.  This mixer design makes for low spatter even when I'm using a bowl that should have been deeper. At first glance, the beaters seem a little cheesy since they are thin wirey stainless and you wonder how long they will last, but I've come to find that they are not bending or otherwise malfunctioning after months of wear and...
