Hana Shield Shine was actually recommended to me by my stylest. My hair is incredibly think and wavy. I don't have curls, per say, more of big fluffy waves. If I don't do anything and I let my hair dry naturally I literally look like a lion. When I went in for a color and style I asked her how I could quickly and easily get a silkier looking style and protect my hair from my hair straightener. She immediately brought of the Hana Shield Shine. She applied it right then and there to show me how little I would need to use. It's really like a small drop that goes a long way. She worked it into my hair and then allowed me to feel my hair. It felt silkier and softer. She then straightened my hair with a flat iorn and then added a VERY small amount to finsh it off. I loved it and bought a bottle from the salon. I have never seen it anywhere other than at my salon, but I may not be looking in the right stores. The only thing I don't like about it is that the day after your hair will look and feel greasy. So if you use it you will have to wash your hair the day after.
