I loved everything about this hotel. First of all, the staff was the most accomodating I have ever come in contact with. They helped with anything from directions to getting a cab. The room was beautiful, and GREAT for the price. I was very pleased with the continental breakfast, because there were more choices than just toast and a bagel. One lady at the fton coutner was the nicest lady I had ever met working at a hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that had to stay in DC. Our overall experience at the hotel was great. If I was in the area again I would stay there. The only thing that was not the greatest is that although there were many places to eat in the area , it is impossible to find a place to park. Just a few blocks from the hotel the area is not so friendly. We had to go about 20 minutes back on the interstate to find a place to eat. We did find a very nice place so it was worth the drive. Very helpful staff with touring. Convenient to local bus transportation. Walking distance to good restaurants. Very nice maids and breakfast staff. Would recommend to someone who is traveling to Washington, D. C. Rooms were clean and sheets could be changed every day if desired. While everything was great, what really made a difference to me was being allowed to check in early and when I checked out they let me leave my 2 bags at the valet desk while I got in one more day of sightseeing. The Hampton Inn Washington DC had a very responsive staff and the check in process was easy. I had to travel all over the city and they were very willing to call cabs for me. Room was very comfortable and very quiet.
