Hamilton Beach big daddy Review

Saving has been engraved into my frontal lobes by a penny-pinching single MOM, who probably still had the first plastic shopping bag (or sack -  depending upon where you came from) in her house when she sold it.  So it was, when I discovered that I still owned a deep fryer although I gave up home-frying foods eons ago ;  I was faced with an enormous decision.  What shall I do with this white elephant?  Luckily, I had misplaced the cord to my slow cooker and the Church was waiting for my Buffalo Chili that I'd cooked on my new stove top( see previous Review on stovetops) for their Cook-off, tasting and sale.  An "epiphany" or at least a non religious thought alleviated all doubt in my perturbed mind.  I would put the chili in the deep fryer and hope I didn't burn the food or worse yet start the church on fire. It worked beautifully.  It heated quickly and I was able to adjust it to keep hot without boiling over or getting luke warm.  Now if I can just find its glass top, I will have the perfect vehicle for my next church supper or catered venue.
