I liked the idea of a dispensing blender because I thought it would be a good idea for parties or small gatherings, so I could blend up a big batch of something and then people could serve themselves as they pleased. And overall, it is great for that. The only real downsides are that once the liquid is too low you have to go ahead and lift and pour anyway, which can make a bit of a mess if it decides to drip, and that it occasionally drips on its own anyway. But other than that, it is a really nice blender. My son thought it was a lot of fun to serve himself his own smoothie!

My daughter bought this for me years ago. I have gotten a lot of use out of it. My son who is now 16 and I make smoothies on a regular basis. It performs well and is durable. We have used it consistently for years and it is still going strong. Never had any issues with it. I especially like the spout that it has, makes dispensing the smoothie much easier. It is easy to clean, and very easy to use. Though we mainly use frozen fruit and ice cream, yogurt and things of that nature to make our smoothies/milk shakes, we have also used ice cubes and worked well. We probably use it two to three times a week, in the summer time we use it even more. For the price of this blender and how long it has lasted and the use we have gotten out of it and I foresee many more years of use, I would highly recommend this blender. It is also a nice looking blender, we have it sitting out on our kitchen counter.

I bought this blender on a budget and for the spout dispenser because I mostly use the blender for smoothies and milk shakes. I really liked the idea of the dispenser spout for the reason I could just fill my cup as I go from the spout and place the whole thing in the fridge and drink over an hour or two. The biggest problem with the spout is its location, it is up higher than the bottom of the blending pitcher so you never get everything out of it. You always have to end up pouring and scooping out the remaining drink from the bottom. Also, this blender does not blend as well as some other higher end blenders so you are left, more often than not, with larger chunks or ice or fruit that will not pass through the spout either. This blender is a little on the loud side, but that is not surprising. I have yet to find a relatively quite blender. Some pros of this blender are that it is easy to clean in that you can put the entire blending pitcher into the dishwasher which is a must for me. I hate washing any dishes by hand. I would recommend doing some more research if you plan on using a blender on a regular basis and buy something of higher quality. If on a budget and just using sporadically this one will work fine.

I think that for the price I got a pretty good blender when I chose the Hamilton Beach Wave Station Express Dispensing Blender. Of course there are better and fancier blenders on the market with many more features. However, if you are looking for a blender for simple blending than this works great and is very affordable. Blending Power I use this to make smoothies, juices, dips, frozen drinks, milk shakes and many other things. It does an excellent job of blending. I was actually surprised at how well it did work. Versatility I love the spout. It makes it convenient to serve drinks. If the consistency of your contents is thick just pour from the top because it will not come out the spout well. Ease of Use This blender is lightweight which makes using and cleaning it easier. Very simple to use. Durability This Hamilton Beach Blender seems put together well. I have had mine for a while now with no problems. I have other Hamilton Beach products I love that have lasted years.

Great blender! Got a lot of use out of this one. It lasted for three years and I used it almost everyday. Towards the end of the three years it started to get overheated more easily but for a while we were using it to make multiple smoothies or shakes a night. As a college student, it was a cheap but very well made purchase. It was a durable blender that served its purpose well. I would definitely recommend it and would purchase again after the current one wares out. Blending Power Generally a very strong blender. Towards the end of its three years it did start to lose a little power though. Versatility We made a number of different things with this blender from icy drinks to smoothies and to shakes. It was definitely very versatile and easy to use for all three of them. Ease of Cleaning Have to make sure that you clean the spout out well. One time we didn't clean the spout out well enough and it began to smell. You definitely have to take the blender apart to clean it. Ease of Use Very simple to use. It was no problem to learn. Durability This blender has been dropped a few times but it definitely survived. It was a very durable purchase and survived three years in a college dorm.

Over the Holidays, I used the Hamilton Beach Wave Station Blender while visiting my in-laws. I really loved it! I used it to make Strawberry Daiquiri's and the best homemade Egg Nog I have ever had. It was so very easy to use. I found that it didn't leave clumps of ice in the strawberry daiquiri mix and it dispensed easily right from the pitcher (while still mounted on the blender). With other blenders, when you try to pour from the pitcher into a glass, there is almost always spilling. I had NO spilling problems with this machine. It was very easy to dispense and the knob is high enough that you don't have to fight to get your glass underneath of it. This was a nice surprise, and I definitely want to purchase one soon. It has a lot of varying speed controls and it has a 48 ounce capacity, so it will do just about anything you may want a blender to do. It is a very good quality blender and the pitcher and lid are dishwasher safe, for easy cleanup. Blending Power This is a very powerful blender. It easily crushes ice and doesn't miss any. Versatility There are quite a few options for every kind of drink. Ease of Cleaning Dishwasher safe Pitcher & Lid. And the appliance wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. Ease of Use Very user-friendly. Design I love the dispenser and it has an appealing look. You can store it on your counter or stash it away. It doesn't take up a lot of space. It looks great and has a nice design but if you are looking for a strong blender don't buy! I bought this blender because I liked the option of a spout for easy dispensing at parties. I used this product the most for making smoothies. I found that it was okay at doing the job but eventually as time went on the blender didn't work as fast. I found blending ice or any item that was frozen to be a problem for this blender. It didn't blend the ice or frozen items down. I was likely to still find ice chunks in the smoothie even if I blended for a long time. The time it took was longer than other blenders which didn't help with the convenience I thought I was paying for the brand. It was a loud blender compared to other brands. As it aged within the year, I found that it got louder. You get get you pay for. In about a year of purchasing I was looking for a new blender. It eventually stopped blending at all. I found the spout to be convenient for dispensing. This product is an easy blender to clean.
