Hamilton Beach Toaster - Toastation Review

I made this purchase rather hastily based on two factors; 1. we needed a new toaster since ours burned out, and 2. this model was on sale.

What a pleasant surprise. The crumb tray comes out easily and is very easy to clean. That was my biggest complaint with our last toaster oven -- it always looked dirty.

This one has a unique feature, in that it has a conventional pop-up toaster on top and the oven part on the bottom. It converts from one to the other by pulling a lever to the side to close or open the toaster opening on the top.

If the toast is getting too dark, there is a cancel button that pops up the toast immediately.

The openings are wide enough for our oversized New York bagels.

Overall, I am impressed with the ease of use and the ease of cleaning. It's perfect for those slices of frozen pizza that children love so much!

The only drawback is that the oven does not automatically turn off when the door opens, so it is easy to forget and accidentally leave the oven on after removing the food.
