We have had our Hamilton Beach toast - Toastation for three years and no problems yet. In our house the Toastation is used for toast, pop tarts, bagels, sausage balls, corn dogs (but cover the stick with foil), pizza rolls, garlic bread, fish sticks, cheese sticks and anything else we can toast, bake or broil. Some people like bread toasted on one side and some people like it toatsed on both. Our 14 year old son probably uses it more than me or my husband. We bought one for my husband's parents this last Christmas because they have enjoyed using ours when they come to visit. It so nice to have two appliances in one very inexpensive appliance.
