For someone that doesn't do alot of ironing this is a good appliance to have around for light ironing tasks. Performance I keep my Hamilton Beach Steam Storm 14570 Iron with Auto Shut-Off close by whenever I need to iron a shirt or slacks quickly. I don't iron very much so I don't require an expensive iron that handles a large volume of work on a daily basis. It heats up quickly and I'm satisfied with the ease of use. I just plug it in to do light jobs that don't require alot of steam. Safety There are no Hamilton Beach Steam Storm 14570 safety issues that I'm aware of. Ease of Cleaning I haven't had any need to clean the Hamilton Beach Steam Storm 14570. Ease of Use There is a dial with variable setings under the handle of the Hamilton Beach Steam Storm 14570. I don't pay too much attention to the different settings. There is also a reset button but I rarely use it. Durability Obviously a solid appliance, no question that it is durable and will last a lifetime. Design I have no problems with the design, except that the variable settings dial is located under the handle that makes it hard to see.
