It does cook your meals, but some of the features on it are very disappointing. Time to Heat I will say that it heats up fairly quick Cooking Performance it does cook your food evenly and does a good job. I never had any issues with that aspect. The whole thing gets too hot to the touch though. i would sometimes touch it accidentally and it really felt like it burned. Ease of Cleaning This is what I hated the most. I would cook pinto beans in it and would wash the pot. Then, I would notice that no matter how many times i scrubbed and washed it, there were always stains in it. It would aggravate me so much! Ease of Use This is really easy to operate. Just turn the little lever to your desired settings. It does not get easier then that. Design I hated the fact that you had to use something to tighten the lid. What a hassle! I was always having to find the bands needed to secure the top on. Durability it has lasted me a couple years, but it dents pretty easy. It fell once and left a dent in it. It is cheap quality, in my eyes.

This is a wonderful slow cooker that I have owned for many years. The six quart container is perfect when I cook stew's for my family! This is also perfect for making soups too! The deep dish heats the food perfectly throughout from the top of the pot to the bottom. The design is very high quality, and I have never put a dent in this appliance since I have owned it. I have dropped the lid a few times, and it has not even suffered a scratch! This slow cooker has the standard low, warm, and high heat settings. The timer works well, and I have not had any issues with it. The machine has a non stick coating that makes it very easy to clean. I never have to scrub the container hard to get it clean. The slow cooker does not tend to burn food either, even when I forget to turn it off! I highly recommend this slow cooker, and I have been very happy since I had it. Time to Heat Works very well. Cooking Performance Cooks great each time! Ease of Cleaning Simple to clean! Ease of Use Incredibly easy to use without any instruction. Design Sturdy and attractive design. I LOVE this slow cooker! We got ours about 3 years ago as a wedding present, and it really is our favorite and most used gift (except for maybe our silverware....). We use it at least once a week, and I have found so many great recipes to use! The clean up is easy, the hooks on top make it really easy to transport to pot-lucks and parties, and it cooks everything evenly without overheating. We've cooked everything from roasts to chicken to pasta to stews, and everything has turned out great (assuming the recipe was a good one). The one downside to it is that there is no power light to show whether it is actually on or not. You turn the knob (very user-friendly), but if for some reason there's a problem with the outlet and the electricity isn't reaching the slow cooker, you have no way of knowing. It also gets really hot, and, if left on for long periods of time (ex: 12 hour roasts), the outside of the slower cooker can get pretty hot too, so you want to be aware of that especially if there are children in the house who can reach it. But overall, we love it! Time to Heat The only other slow cooker I've ever used was back in high school, and I don't quite remember how it worked, but it seems to me that this one heats up a little bit slower than the other one. Sine there is no light to tell if it's on, I always check the fog on the lid and the temperature of the sides to make sure it's on and cooking, and it always takes about 30-45 minutes to have any noticeable warmth. Ease of Cleaning It's dishwasher safe (or, at least, I've washed mine in the dishwasher hundreds of times and nothing has happened to it), so it makes the clean-up super easy. Just rinse it out and pop it in the dishwasher, then re-use it the next day! Ease of Use The only thing that makes this not a 10 is the fact that there is no power light to show if it is really on. One time, there was a problem with the outlet I was using and my meal "cooked" for 3 hours without actually cooking because there was no power getting to the slow cooker and I had no way of knowing. Design Again, it could have a power light to show if it is on or off. I LOVE the hooks on the top that latch the lid in place! It makes transporting the slow cooker to events so easy and clean! Durability I've had mine for about 3 years now and have used it about once a week, and it is still as good as when I first got it. There is a little rust on the inside of the outer part (the part that doesn't touch the food), but that's mostly due to a humid climate and storing it with the inner part still partially wet.

I enjoy cooking in the crock pot and use it frequently. I do like that this is a six quart crock pot. I can cook large meals for a crowd in it, as well as smaller sized meals for my family. I also like that the black pot section lifts out. I use this to both prep dinner the night before and then keep it in the fridge. I can also put that piece in the dishwasher when we are done with the meal. Sometimes, there can still be residue left in my crock pot, even after it has been put through my dishwasher. However, I have found that if I soak it with soap and water in my sink, and then put it through my dishwasher, that it usually comes out clean. Overall, I think that this is a great, versatile appliance to have in your kitchen. It's especially helpful if you have a busy family, or small children. Whatever I cook in it comes out moist and tender. It really helps our family to eat better when we have busy nights.

Pretty much love everything about it! I got this as a clearance item because it was missing a probe or something. (I never missed it!) Well worth the money I spent. If I had to I would even pay full price again, if this one ever shall Time to Heat Heats up quickly and consistently. I have never hand any issues with this heating up, unless I pulled the tub directly from my refrigerator and stuck it in there (in which case I allow for more time!) Cooking Performance Works like a charm every time. Ease of Cleaning Very easy to clean. Can wipe inside and the tub is always able to be easily cleaned. Ease of Use Plug it in and go! Design I really like the fact that the lid locks on. I don't have to worry about it falling or my kids knocking it over and it spilling everywhere. The locking feature also makes it really easy to transport for family dinners and potlucks outside of our kitchen! Durability I've been using mine multiple times a week for well over a year! I have had this for about 3 years now and I love it. It has good settings making it easy to make a variety of foods. The thing that I like most about it is the large size of the pot. It can hold lots and lots of food and the biggest thing I have cooked is a 5 pound butt roast. I had plenty of room for both the meat and tons of veggies, etc. I like that the lid snaps down for secure moving. I love how the bowl comes out for easy washing and the shell is simple to clean, just wipe with a damp cloth with or without a tiny amount of soap. Time to Heat This starts to get warm almost immediately and only takes one or two minutes to be a full heat. Cooking Performance Can cook a variety of foods quickly and easily. Ease of Cleaning Super easy to clean, removable bowl and lid for washing and can just wipe down the outside of the machine. Ease of Use Super easy to use, just plug in, set the temperature and you are done. Design Classic design, looks nice with the stainless like finish. Durability Have had this one for over 3 years now and still looks and work like it did right out of the package.

A very good product. I have used other brands in the past, but I find that this product to be superior to them. It is working just fine, but if I had to replace it, I would buy another just like it. The size and design is perfect for my needs and I cook a lot of pot roasts in it. My family loves that and it always turns out a perfect meal. Durability So far, I am very pleased.

This is a great slow cooker and gets used a lot in my house. It has the standard heat settings of low, high, and warm. No matter what I make the food always gets cooked evenly and within the time stated on my recipes. I have made everything in this things, soups, stews, casseroles, and even desserts. Meat comes out incredibly tender and just falls apart and melts in your mouth. The lid can be attached with the clips so if you need to take this to a pot luck or party you do not have to worry about anything spilling out. It is pretty easy to clean and the main insert is dishwasher safe. Time to Heat Heats up pretty quickly, within ten minutes or so. Cooking Performance Has cooked everything I have ever made evenly. I have never had an issue where one section was undercooked or overcooked. Ease of Cleaning I usually soak it in hot soapy water and hand wash, you can put it in the dishwasher as well. Ease of Use Crock pots are a busy moms best friend! Just dump it in and forget about it until dinner time! Design Nice design, fits nicely in my cabinet and does not take up too much counter space when in use. Durability Has held up well with a lot of use.

During the hectic school year I literally have no time to make dinner. I love having the ability to still make a nice supper without having to stand over a stove or skillet. The crockpot allows me to be adventurous with some new soup recipes and chili recipes. This cannot be beat for cooking roasts. The meat literally falls apart. Time to Heat Heats up nice and quickly. Cooking Performance Very even cooking. I had no hotspots or cold areas even in the thickest of roasts. It keeps the vegetables soft in my stews. Literally the pork roasts fall apart when I take them out. It gives my chili that nice slow cooked feel. Ease of Cleaning The interior cylinder wiped up really well. I used regular dish soap and a cloth to clean up most of the mess. In order to remove some of the tougher stains like chili and spaghetti sauce I used a magic eraser and was able to loosen them up. Ease of Use Can it be any easier than putting a stew or chili in the crockpot and walking away? The dial is simple and straightforward. It is light enough to load in the car for when I took it to my mom's for the holidays. Design Much smaller than the crock I had in the Nineties. Still a bit bulky for my small kitchen cabinets. The handles make it easy to carry and unlike my previous crock, the lid fits nicely on top. Durability Still working well after weekly and sometimes twice weekly use. I have carried this to several parties and relatives homes. No nicks and scratches in the interior chamber.

The Hamilton Beach Stay-or-go Slow Cooker is an excellent slow cooker. I use it very often to make soups. It is extremely easy to use. I just cut up veggies and chicken and put that into the slow cooker, then pour chicken broth or something into the cooker. Then, I just plug it into the outlet, turn it on, and leave it cooking overnight. Then, in the morning, I have hot soup waiting for me to feast on! This is extremely convenient for me, since I am pretty rushed in the mornings because I need to get to work, so not having to cook anything in the morning really does save me an abundant amount of time. In addition, the food that this slow cooker makes is absolutely incredible - hot, flavorful, and scumptious! Time to Heat It is a slow cooker, so of course it is not to be used for quick meals. I usually just use this thing for overnight cooking. For a slow cooker, the time to heat is the right - long enough to get all the flavors out but short enough to preserve the flavors. Ease of Cleaning It's a bit heavy, so don't drop it while cleaning it.
