Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker - Stay or Go Stainless Steel 33162  —

I just bought this Hamilton Beach crockpot, and used it this weekend.  I popped in the ingredients for chili, let it perk all day, and it was  delicious. I love the handy lid clips that keep the lid tightly closed during transport, thus avoiding spills. I also like the rack for the lid, as well as a spoon cradle on the lid.  The one downside is that it doesn't have a vent on the lid, which would be helpful, but it's not a big deal.  I'm very happy with my new crockpot, and I'm sure it will get a lot of use.

I thought they went out of style. Funny to think of an appliance going out of style. Thanks for the info:) Jo

They can be real time-savers, and you can serve delicious meals within minutes of getting home from work or school or whatever. They kind of went out of style for a few years, though. I like to make stew, chili, soup, or even small roasts in mine. They don't create a lot of heat or use a lot of power, and the results are delicious! Most crockpots come with a recipe book or at least some recipes, and there are a number of good cookbooks out there, too. Try one and enjoy!

I have never used a crockpot! I know people love them. Enjoy. Jo
