Hamilton Beach 6 Quart Slow cooker was a steal at less than $20! Hard to find a cooker that compares at this price. Oval shape and overall size allow for easy storage in the cabinet. One feature that must have been sacrificed for the low price is an automatic warming mode that are on some models. Manually turning cooker to warm has not been any hardship though.

Features:

Removable stoneware crock for easy clean up
Crock can be used in the microwave or oven, though lid is not safe to use in either
Stainless steel look exterior
Includes a lid strap for easy transport
High setting for faster cooking requires you to stir food, but cuts time in half
Low setting works as a regular slow cooker that does not need attention
Also has a keep warm setting (for latecomers or parties) to keep the food at proper serving temperature
