I have one of these crock pots and I LOVE it. I use it regularly to make meals for my family, but I also love to take it places because the lid locks tight to prevent spills, plus the spoon that attaches to the lid is perfect for take-along dishes.

This digital display crock pot has a programmable feature that works with 3 different settings:
-Manual
-Temperature
-Time
The manual setting works just like a normal crock pot - High, low, or warm, left on until you shut it off or change the setting.
The temperature setting is my favorite - no more over-cooking! There is a probe included with the pot that you insert when needed. By setting the pot to change the setting to warm at a certain temperature, you can be sure that your meat will be perfectly done, yet kept warm by the automatic shift of "high" or "low" to "warm."

I have owned 2 of these crockpots and I love them. I only replace my first one because my son accidentally broke the crock. I love the fact that we can take meals to eat at church and I don't have to worry about it being all over the car when I arrive at my destination. I think the low heat setting is the best after the initial first hour on high. It is nice for a busy mother of 8 to have a little help in the kitchen and my crockpot has become that friend. My husband and I enjoy dining it, don't get me wrong. However, we used to eat out a lot more than we should have. Why? Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker - Stay or Go Stainless Steel 33162
I love this product in fact it is by far one of my favorite kitchen appliances. I make all sorts of yummy dishes and it really saves my rear when I have no time to make dinner or what ever else. The only thing I do not like (and don't really NEED, but would like just in case) is that it has no option of switching bowl sizes, I have another one that is smaller I use for making hot appetizer dips and such.

A fantastic slow cooker that does it all. You can use it like a good old fashioned crock pot, if that's what you prefer. Just manually select the high, low, or keep warm setting. But you also have two other neat options: 1) count-down or timer mode, while using either the high or low settings, or 2) you can use the temperature probe to reach a low temperature of 160 degrees or the high setting at 180 degrees.
