I bought my first Hamilton Beach K2070 Cordless Electric Kettle to take with me on an three week trip, As a tea drinker, I can't stand to use the pots in hotel rooms because they always have that "coffee" taste. I used it both morning and night and when I came home, I moved it upstairs, into our bedroom....

I bought this to make tea quickly, and it does work well for that. The water gets very hot! So keep away from small children. The bad thing is if you leave water in it, it will corrode the bottom inside. And this was only after a couple of days. So you have to empty it after use.

I love drinking tea, and sometimes an instant decaf coffee. Before I purchased this wonderful item, I had to either warm up water in the microwave (disgusting is the word that comes to mind here) or cook water on the stove, which takes too long.

After spending some time in Europe, I learned about these water cookers and found them to be energy efficient, cheap, efficient and very quick. I was very happy to find them here in the states too and that is the first thing I went out and got once I was back. I have not regretted it for a moment.

Hot water fast at home!

Maybe one of the best investments I have made. 

As a barista, I am constantly making beverages. This electric kettle gets water hot quickly and efficiently - saves on gas use from my stove. I have not had any problems with the base or overheating. It turns itself off and isn't overwhelmingly loud (though you can hear it while it is heating the water).

The cordless feature was also important to be. It is nice to be able to take the kettle off its base just like I would take my tea kettle off the stove. Before, I owned a kettle with the cord attached and found it a nuisance to use. It constantly...

I would not buy another Hamilton Beach Cordless Electic Kettle

I am very disappointed in the Hamilton Beach Cordless Electic Kettle.  The base has started to melt and get very hot.  I called the company about it and they told me to just throw it away.  It's 14 months old and they said the warantee was for 12 months. 

The pot also over heats the water and when you go to pour water out, the steam will burn you if you are not very careful - of course, I no longer used it and have bought another brand.

I was not calling to get it replaced - I was calling because it's dangerous.  This is a potential fire hazard and they didn't want to hear about it.  I...

With 5 kids who adore Quaker Instant Oatmeal this kettle is a lifesaver. It boils water quickly and effortlessly and pours without spashing everywhere. The best thing is IT'S QUIET! No squealing tea kettle on the stove top and no annoying "Beep! Beep! Beep!" from the microwave. It's durable, easy to use, and so much faster than any other method. Love it!

I recently got the Hamilton Beach Cordless electric kettle from my sister for my birthday. We drink hot tea quite frequently, so it is nice to have. Plus, it boils the water quickly for instant outmeal and anything else you need hot water for. The insides rusted alittle bit, so you do have to remember to empty it everytime you use it, though.
