I've used this mixer a few times in the past week and it has shown incredible power. It mixed through 7 pounds of mashed potatoes with no problems at all! It is very stable and has a very deep bowl. The deep bowl is nice so you don't have food splattering out of the bowl as it mixes.  I will never go back to my regular stand mixer again! It does cost a bit more than most other mixers, but it is definitely worth it. Especially if you spend alot of time in the kitchen.  Clean up is super easy too. It also comes with 3 different attachments.
