I burned up my old blender, which I always seem to do. Either I was doing something wrong or asking it to blend frozen strawberries, chunks of melon and some yogurt and juice was beyond the typical blender.

I asked for this one for my birthday because of the dispensing feature. I was forever dumping whatever I blended out of the top or couldn't get it to pour if I did remember to hold the top while pouring with my old blenders.

My Hamilton Beach Blender is the best investment I have made in a long time.  After deciding to lose weight and become more healthy, I decided making fruit smoothies and protein shakes would be a good route to go in order to cut back on some of my calorie intake.  I was looking for a blender  that I could dispense the smootie out of a spout.  After about a weeks search at serveral different stores including Target, Walmart, K-Mart, Big Lots and drugs stores.  I still couldn/t find the perfect blender.  One day i get a call from my husband saying he has a surprise for me.  I get home and...

This product is great for maybe larger families but not really practical for 1-2 person use.

The pour spout was more of a bother than not.

My husband was just diagnosed with cancer and I thought this would be just the 'berries' to make smoothies and entice him to eat a little more.  The ideal was a great one it just hit on some snags along the way.  Had I wanted just juice it may have worked better, but I want nice thick spoon dipping lip smacking wonderous drink.  I did not get it.
