Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Pro Juice Extractor Review

I've owned three juicers over the past 15 years, and this one is head and shoulders above my previous two. I purchased it on sale at WalMart for less than $100.00, and have gotten more than my money's worth in healthful, creatively-concocted fruit and vegetable juices.

This juicer is solid, with nary a flimsy part on it. It is also intelligently designed, with no swinging lock-down arms to break off. Operation is a simple on-off dial, and the big mouth opening allows me to place entire beets or a handful of carrots in there. I also love the huge pulp catcher. With previous juicers, I had to empty the pulp containers at least once. This one easily makes about two quarts of juice before needing to be emptied.

The Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Pro Juice Extractor gets all of the juice out of fruits and vegetables. No more throwing away wet pulp. As juicers go, it's reasonably easy to clean and doesn't splash juice or pulp all over your kitchen. I doubt that there is a truly "easy to clean" juicer out there, but I can usually clean this one in about five minutes. All parts are dishwasher safe, and easy to clean out big pulp chunks with a paper towel.

If you're into frequent juicing and wants something really sturdy, take it from someone who's been through two previous juicers. This one holds up for the long haul.
