I purchased this particular waffle maker because of it's simplicity and ease of use. The price is very reasonable and does everything an expensive one does. You can vary your waffle choices by adding fruit, etc. making them very enjoyable. Performance This product performs very well. It has it's settings and if you follow them you can't go wrong. Your waffles will only turn out poorly if you don't pay attention to the cooking process. Settings/Features The settings are set out so easily that any one can follow them which is why I bought the unit. Ease of Cleaning This unit cleans very easily. You just take out the waffle squares and put them in the dishwasher and voila! it is clean. Of course, you have spills, etc. on the side, but once the unit has cooled off, you can just wipe them off. Ease of Use As I mentioned before, it is so easy to use. The settings are simple and labelled well. Durability I have owned this unit for over 5 years and there isn't a mark on it. The material it is made off is very strong and looks good too,

I owned in the past this Hamilton Beach Belgian Waffle Maker and found that I did like it for certain reasons although it did not last as long as I had hoped. First of all the first thing I loved about this waffle maker is the fact that you can make two at the same time although most people I served still ate both of them. It is the perfect size waffles for children I found. It is very easy to use. You just season it with some non stick spray and pour in the batter and within two minutes I had nice fluffy Belgian Waffles. It was not as durable as I hoped but it did last about a year before it started getting wobbly and not closing all the way. It cooked them very evenly at first but after a while it started not cooking them even and then the batter would stick to the waffle maker. I did like that it was very easy to clean. I did not have a problem with batter getting into crevices or anything. The price for this product was pretty reasonable compared to a lot of others and I did get some good use out of it. Altogether though I would not purchase it again. This is a good waffle maker for a small family who does not use it a lot.

My son gave me the Hamilton Beach Belgian Waffle Maker as a gift for mothers day! I've never had a waffle maker before. I have always purchased the frozen waffles in the store, perhaps this was a hint. It is so easy to cook waffles with this. I just mix up my batter , heat up the waffle maker, spray the griddles with pam, pour in the batter, and that's it!! In about 5 minutes I have delicious waffles. Performance Now I wish I had purchased one of these a long time ago. It heats up fast, which is good. I spray pam on the griddles, waffles come out easily. The waffles come out so delicious. Settings/Features I like how the light comes on when your waffle maker is preheated and ready to use. I also like that the cord winds back up hidden. The handle locks also, so you can store this on it's side taking up less room when not in use. The exterior of the stainless steel waffle maker is made of chrome with a cool-touch insulated handle Ease of Cleaning This waffle maker is so very easy to clean. Ease of Use It comes with a instruction booklet which is nice. It is so easy to use, and to clean up. Durability This is a very well built waffle maker. I have been using this for about 6 months now without any problems.

The Hamilton Beach Belgain Waffle Maker is a fantastic little appliance to add to your kitchen if you enjoy the occasional waffle. I have had this guy for a little over six months, and it has done a great job at making quality waffles. What I like best about it, is how easy it is to set up. There is virtually no buttons to push, or settings to adjust. You basically pour the batter in, let it warm up for the designated time, and you're done. This machine is also very easy to clean up. In most cases the batter does not stick to the grill. If something does stick it is pretty easy to just wipe clean. I have used this unit pretty often my me and my family and it has held up well. Another feature, is that this model comes with a booklet with simple recipes to add variety to your meals. Overall this is a great waffle maker for the cost. The only reason I didn't give it a full 10 on the rating is because this unit is almost too basic. It would have been nice to see some added features on it.

I have really been through a lot of different brands of waffle makers before, but I think that I have finally found the holy grail of waffle makers in this Hamilton Beach Belgian Waffle maker! The most impressive features on this waffle maker are its perfectly fluffy waffles of course, and also the very easy clean up. The plates are removable which makes them so easy to clean and also can go in your dishwasher. There is also a little plastic drip tray that catches any overfilled batter spills that makes it really nice. Once you find your perfect setting, just wait for the green indicator light to turn on when ready and click off when they are perfectly cooked, and it is as easy as that. Just be sure and be generous with your non-stick spray, because if you forget it, the waffles are a nightmare to get out and leave a huge mess. The handle on it also collapses which makes it easy to slide away for storage out of sight.

My husband and I bought this waffle maker about 18 months ago. Since then we have used it about twice a month (roughly 30 times) to make waffles. Overall, I would say that we are very pleased with it. This waffle maker heats quickly and signals to let you know when it is ready to use via a little light. Once you pour the batter in (being careful to use the recommended amount in the manual; otherwise it will drip out the sides of the waffle maker and make a huge mess), we have found that this cooks the waffles evenly and quickly. In addition, the performance is repeatable - it cooks the waffles evenly throughout the whole batch. I have not found this to be the case with other waffle makers in the past - generally the first batch is pale and undercooked and the last few batches end up overdone. My only complaint with this waffle maker is that it can be difficult to clean - however, that is not unique to this waffle maker. I have yet to find an affordable waffle maker that is easy to clean.

I love using this waffle maker for making breakfast in the morning. For me, two squares is enough if I am having something else with it (such as a couple eggs). But if I'm just having waffles, then I usually have four, so it takes two sets to get enough for breakfast. But they cook within a couple minutes, and I can start eating the first two while the next two are cooking, so I don't have any problems with them going cold before I eat them. Ease of Cleaning The waffle plates are not removable, so it can be difficult to get them clean, especially if waffle is stuck down inside the grooves. But as long as the nonstick is still working or you spray with a nonstick cooking spray before using it, then you won't have many problems with waffles sticking. Although when I use cooking spray, it can be a little difficult to get all of the spray residue off. Durability The one I use has lasted for a few years without any problems.

This waffle maker does what it states, it makes waffles, but they are not the yummy, delicious waffles that you would expect if you went to the restaurant. The waffles it makes tend to be rubbery no matter what type of batter you use. I have tried at least four or five different recipes and they all turn out rubbery with a plastic taste to them that must come from the waffle iron itself because when I use the batter to make pancakes instead they taste perfectly fine. Performance It takes forever to make a waffle with this iron so if you are cooking for your family not everyone can have hot waffles at the same time. Ease of Cleaning It is really difficult to clean the waffle iron. I worry about getting the cord wet so we use a wet cloth with soap on it then 'rinse' it with a separate rag but is usually still greasy. Ease of Use The waffle iron is easy to use, but time consuming as it takes forever to cook one waffle.

This is one of my favorite appliances I have. It makes honestly perfect waffles, it's really easy to cook with too. Two downsides though, it only makes two at a time, and the clean up is pretty difficult at times. It has mostly great non stick metal though, but the deep crevices are very hard to clean into sometimes.

This is an excellent, simple waffle maker. I bought this since I wanted to make homemade waffles instead of eating the frozen ones from the box. The first time I tried it, I didn't spray and the waffle stuck to the grill despite the nonstick surface. The second pair of waffles I sprayed butter flavor cooking spray on top and bottom of the griddle. Second time the waffle came out beautiful. Tip: Put a piece of aluminum foil or waxed paper under the unit just in case you over pour. If you do over pour the batter will run out of the sides and maybe the back . Sometimes you may think you poured the right amount and it be too much. Performance I've made all sorts of waffles with fruits, chocolate chips, and nuts, and there have been no issues. Settings/Features No frills waffle maker. Just as it should be. Ease of Cleaning Great if you don't over pour but cleanup can become annoying if you do. Ease of Use This is really easy to use. Just followed the instructions in your manual. Durability I've had mine for about a year with twice a week use.
