I got this blender as a gift from a relative and I am quite happy with the product. It is fast, reliable and easy to hold. You can make soups and other stuffs within minutes with this blender. I purchased the Hamilton Beach 69785 2-Speed Handheld Blender originally for the purpose of making baby food for my sons. It does a great job pureeing food into small pieces that are perfect for baby food. I've started experimenting with soups, including butternut squash, cream of broccoli and tomato. This is a great handheld blender! I received this as a much asked for gift and have used it about 6 times now and still get excited to use it. Ease of Cleaning All you have to do is fill a glass or bowl with hot sudsy water and buzz it for a few seconds and then rinse, works great and just wipe off and put away, couldn't be easier.

Very good little blender. I don't use the whisk much, but that's OK. If there is one problem it's that it tends to get a little hot if you use it continuously for more than about 2-3 minutes. Other than that, works great for butternut squash soup, homemade mayo, stirring homemade soap. Indespensable appliance! Kinda wish it had a constant one button, but i guess that might be dangerous!

This is the easiest mixer I have ever owned! My favorite thing to use it for is blending my soups! You can make a great tomato soup and blend the tomatoes greatly! It is not heavy so your arm will not get tired! When it comes to potatoes this beats a masher anyday! No more mashing for me! This makes them smooth and creamy!
