It is a great blender for the money. I make a lot of milkshakes in the summer time or my kid loves crushed ice with her drinks and this blender has never given me any trouble. Blending Power It has 12 different speeds so all you just have to do is push the right button to get the desired mix you need to get that perfect blend. Versatility I have never tried to mix anything dry in it because it works so great with liquids. My daughter did take 1 1/2 cups of black berries and 2 table spoons of sugar, but she dissolved the sugar in a 1/2 cup of warm water then added it and it mixed it perfectly. Ease of Cleaning I have never had any thing to complain about. All you need to do is let it soak in hot soapy water or even put it in the dishwasher and it has always come clean for me. Ease of Use It is real easy to use just sit the pitcher on the motor put in your ingredients in that you want mixed. pick your desired speed from grate, beat, puree, liquefy, whip, crumb, chop, stir, blend, mix and it even has an ice breaker that will pulse with a hi or low button for control. Oh yeah don't forget the lid or you will wear it. Design It is very simple with all the controls right in front of you to operate it. Durability I have only had this model for a couple of years now and it has never given me any trouble as of now. But I did have an older H B model for 12 years and it finally just gave up. I hope this on will last as long or even 1/2 as long.

I originally wanted a Keurig brewer but this is a good alternative. You can choose one or two pods and the kind you want. It works with coffee mugs and travel mugs. The cup holder thing can be removed and flipped to fit any size cup/mug. It brews in about 2-3 minutes as well. I also use it to make hot water for tea or hot chocolate as well.
