I have had this toaster about 6 years now. We are a family of 4 and use our toaster atleast 4 times a week. When we use it, there is something all 4 slots. I purchased this toaster because it was a great price point. I am not one to spend tons of money on something unless I know it's good. I am hear it say, it's good. It was worth every penny spent. We use our toaster for toast, waffles, and bagels for the majority of the time. I really like how there are different item settings. Still be careful. Just because it says toast, you still want to turn down the temp. The temperature on this toaster is HOT. I have had smoke (no flames) a lot when I first used this. I don't think our heat setting moves off of 2 ever. Storing this toaster is alittle challenging since it is so big. Ours is stored in a cupboard since we don't have lots of counter space. Cleaning is really easy, remove the crumb tray and dump and good to go. Since we have used our toaster for 6 years now, I still feel it's works as good as the first day. I would recommend this toaster to anyone. Great value, great product.

A toaster shouldn't be the most complicated appliance in your house. I like that this one has a lot of choices but you can still just pop a piece of bread in there, select one dial and toast away. Bagels really do well in here, unlike some toasters that get them wedged in there. Toasting Evenness Great on thick toast like Texas toast or bagels. I sometimes like a thin toast product that a regional bakery chain makes and that I have to really watch as it will burn. Great for waffles. Safety I like that the appliance never gets overtly hot even on the chrome. You don't have to worry about burning your wrists or fingers when you go to get your toasted item. The automatic shutoff is phenomenal for my early morning brain fog! Ease of Cleaning The slide out trays at the bottom of each section are great. While they don't catch every single crumb, it alleves me of having to shake a toaster over the garbage can like I had to do with my older toaster. The chrome can make me a little crazy with fingerprints. Durability This thing is built like a tank. We have it in our kitchenette in the basement and we have had teenage boys use it with no problems. The trays still slide in and out nicely and the toast springs up still. Design I had to have a toaster that did not take up too much space on my small kitchenette counter. This is a little bulkier than I thought it would be when I saw it on the box, but it is by no means too big for any size counter.

I received my Hamilton Beach four slice toaster as a wedding present and I love it! We use it every single morning! It heats evenly, and it is easy to clean. Plus, I just adore the stainless steel design! The controls are very easy and I love that I can toast my bread to a golden brown on one side and toast my husband's bread a little darker on the other side. The toaster does not get too hot so I would say that safety is pretty good on this one. I used to have a problem with toaster not popping up toast all the way, especially when you toast bagels. This Hamilton Beach toaster, however, does not have that problem. I am very satisfied with this product! Toasting Evenness It toasts bread, bagels, toaster pastries, etc. very evenly. Safety This toaster does not get hot on the outside, so my kids can use it without worry of getting burned. Ease of Cleaning This toaster is very easy to clean. Design I love the stainless steel design! It is easy to clean and looks great!

I am in love with the Hamilton Beach 4 slice toaster. It makes breakfast quick and easy to make everyday. I use this toaster everyday, and it works just as good as the day I bought it. You can toast bagels, bread, pop tarts, and even waffle in this toaster. you can make one piece of bread if you want or you can make four. I always get even perfect toast and bagels every time I use this, and my toast is always just the way I like it. The great thing about this toaster that it has a button to pop the toast up if you want it out rather then having to use the levers on a regular toaster. I know having to use those levers made my old toasters break down faster. It also has several other buttons and knobs which you can use to customize how you want your toast. I like that this toaster was very affordable for what you get, and it's very durable. It's safe to use, and easy to clean. Toasting Evenness My toast is always even, and just how I like it. I've never had burnt or unevenly toasted bread or bagel with this toaster. You can have your toast as light or brown as you want it. Safety As long as you keep it clean, and keep any crumbs from piling up inside, it's pretty safe. I have not had any safety problems with this toaster. I just wouldn't walk away from it or turn my back from it too long while it's in use just in case. Ease of Cleaning There is not much cleaning you have to do with this toaster besides wiping the outside clean, and getting rid of any excess crumbs on the inside. You really just have to turn the toaster upside down and shake all of the crumbs out. Durability This is a very durable toaster. I have had this toaster for over a year and it's still going strong. I use this on a daily basis and it gets a lot of use. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I'm sure it will last for many years to come since it's very well made. Design I like the modern design of this toaster. I like that you can make four slices of bread or two full bagels instead of having to make only two and have to keep making more. It makes it faster to make breakfast for me and my boyfriend. I also like the silver and black color of this toaster. It's made to look good in anyone's kitchen and can go with any décor. It has a very easy to use design.

I cannot say anything negative about this product. I got this as a Christmas gift and it is the BEST toaster I have ever owned and if it breaks I swear I will cry! Ha! I love that it has multiple setting for what you're toasting. I especially love the bagel button because I eat a bagel almost every morning. Whether it's bread, waffles, bagels or whatever, it toasts so evenly. I love the cancel button versus having to force the lever up (like most older and some newer) on other toasters. It's from a very reliable and highly used brand in our household and it's stylish as well. Awesome product! Toasting Evenness Even golden brownness every time. Safety The multiple function buttons make this toaster a lot more safe then those with manual functions. I feel safe/confident in letting my kids use this toaster. Ease of Cleaning Easy to wipe down and the bottom drop/slide out tray makes it super easy to get out the crumbs. Durability I haven't had it very long nor have I dropped it or anything but it seems to be made very durable as most products from this brand are. Design Modern design. Black on stainless steel matches our other kitchen appliances nicely.

I received this toaster as a Christmas gift, and after using my old, white, two slice toaster for years, this toaster looked like a work of art. As I started reading about all of its features and things it could do I was shocked. This was way more than just a toaster! This toaster can do toast, bagels, waffles, reheat things, and so many more things than I probably even know yet or would ever need to do. Besides its many uses, I love how this toaster looks. The chrome makes it look so much nicer and it is very functional at the same time. It is easy to clean the inside and outside without making a big mess of crumbs. So far it has always cooked my toast perfectly and I'm sure it would make anything else just as well. I actually feel like I am missing out because I know I haven't used this toaster to its full potential. Never thought I would be saying these things about a toaster, but it really is a great buy. Even if I wouldn't have gotten it as a gift this definitely would have been something I would have picked out for myself. I really hope it holds up for a long time because I am definitely sold and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

In my house we frequently use our toaster; from anything from BLTs to Bagels and Waffles. When I found the Hamilton Beach 4 Slice Toaster at a reasonable price, I decided to pick it up. If it didn't last that long, I would not have been too concerned since I got it at such a good price. This toaster is still working for me even after a lot of use! The toaster toasts the bread (or whatever you put in it) evenly, and you can change the settings if you would like two slices lightly toasted and the other two more toasted. It's also nice that bagels and other thicker pieces of bread will also fit into the toaster. I like that this has a nice finish, and I don't mind leaving it out on my counter because it looks so nice. Toasting Evenness Everything I toast in this always comes out evenly toasted. Durability Although I typically leave this out on my counter, if I need more room for baking I will move it. I move it pretty often, and I never had a problem with anything breaking on this toaster. It seems like it will last a long time.

The Hamilton Beach 4 Slice Toaster is a good toaster for bagels and frozen waffles. We purchased this toaster two years ago for the sole purpose to toast bagels and waffles for our kids. Since it has the capabilities of toasting four bagels very fast in the morning it was ideal for our family. The kids toast waffles and other frozen pastries after school and on the weekends so it serves our needs perfect. I would rate the Hamilton Beach brand as very good for manufacturing small appliances at reasonable prices. Toasting Evenness I found the Hamilton Beach 4 Slice toaster to be slightly uneven in toasting four bagel at the same time. Two bagels would toast a little darker than the other two at the same setting Safety The toaster has not caused any problems with safety issues. Durability We have owned this toaster for two years and no problems yet. Design The toaster has a good design and look good on the kitchen counter top if you desire to leave out in the open.

This is a great toaster for a family or a couple. if you are single, I would probably save the money & just buy a single toaster. The best part of this toaster is the double slot. You can toast 4 pieces of bread or 4 poptarts or frozen waffles at a time which definitely speeds up the breakfast making process in the AM! It has lots of controls for temperature & setting to ensure that you get the perfect toast each time. The popping mechanism works well. Slices of toast don't go flying in the air & out of the toaster when done ( a problem with my previous toaster). It is also fairly easy to clean out the bread crumb catcher as well. I enjoy this toaster & I haven't had a burnt piece of toast yet! A great buy for those who need to cook for more than one person! The slots are wide enough as well to fit larger bagels which is nice! No jamming them in the slots & having them come up with one side burnt.

I've tried many of these toasters and they usually break, like the button would get stuck on the bottom and not release, resulting in burnt toasts. This one is very good. It always works how I need it and does not give up, even if using it constantly. My large family is in need of this and this is the perfect one. I am a big fan of Hamilton Beach products, I even have a toaster oven as well. This toaster is very safe in my thoughts. I have never seen sparks plugging it and unplugging it, like I have in previous toasters of mine. Some people fear having any toaster in their house, but I would say this one is perfectly safe to have in your household. The design is modern and sleek. I would not change a thing about this toaster. The price is also very affordable which is perfect for those families on a budget. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. This is an amazing product and it should be known for that.
